  1. It just looks right! Nice job!!
  2. Actually, a couple of items more and I am done!
  3. Finally got the chance to go by Pegasus Hobbies while in the Pomona area and I picked up the AMT Race Car Hauler, Revell '62 Vette Gasser and the Gasser wheel set from AMT. I could have easily bought more, but, I still need to go X-Mas shopping!
  4. Very nice! Another car I need to build for the collection!
  5. Wow! Super cool shots!! Dave Hough knew the secret as well!
  6. Pac Man Fever! This is awesome!!!
  7. Thanks for inspiring me to re-build the one I have! Feliz Navidad!
  8. Very cool! An absolute classic and you did a fantastic job!! Had a poster of one on my wall when I was a kid!
  9. One of the first, and it was by accident, was the Plymouth Dealers Barracuda
  10. The text is seperate on the Slixx sheet, but, it is made for the red car and would look totally weird on the blue car.
  11. God Speed, Stu That in Memoriam list is getting longer for CHRR next year. Sad.
  12. One of the things we all really do miss is the "Cheers" feeling when hanging out at the LHS. The other store does not have that, unless you are an R/C guy
  13. Our LHS went out due to poor management, bad economy and a bad location. Sad,but true. The next LHS is mostly an R/C shop and all the model car guys that worked there are gone. And as far as the viable question goes, only viable if they are the best stocked and most encompasing one around. Little ones can not do it on charisma alone anymore. And the Wal Mart deal does not hold any water around here as they do not stock models anymore. Our hobby is a shrinking demographic and it is hard to cater to folks who are not there.
  14. Wow! This is awesome!! You are truly an artist, Sir!
  15. Military Aircraft and some Sci Fi models. I try to keep it diverse and open minded. But, as I used to say, if it is plastic and I can glue it together, I'm in!
  16. Got a THULE trailer hitch bike rack for my girlfriends camping trailer! Then I went by the LHS where I found nothing to buy. Really
  17. As weird as this may seem, I am with Bill on this one. My recollection of the incident was not as fresh as I thought and I was called on it, a bit tersely, but, called on it. At least I had some of it right. It happened and both planes where involved! But to limit what we say on this section would be contra productive to what it is for. This area, as far as I know, is to keep these sort of topics off the other areas. And that is good and yes, we may not agree or get it right, but it will be contained here. Please do don't stifle speech on here because we sometimes get a bit heated. Afterall, that is part of the deal sometimes. Jesse C.
  18. Where in post seven is the NTSB report? And yes, citing information with an image can explain the situation rather easily before causing all types of emotions. Otherwise it is just shock value. And where does it state that this is an old accident? Just asking!
  19. Well, I was mostly going from memory and should have looked it up again. Thank you for correcting the record! Mr. Engwer! Maybe you should have posted the circumstances of what happened to go along with the pictures. Or where you not paying attention?
  20. This incident happend at Oshkosh, Wis. during their big air show back in 2006. The Avenger was doing S-Turns when the small homebuilt pulled out in front of it. The Avenger pilot and passenger, his wife, never saw the small plane veer in front of them until it was too late.
  21. Great trade with Kobuzz AKA Scott! Will gladly trade with him again!
  22. Looking good! Paint ideas?
  23. Ever since the Blue Max was done, they have used that chassis on all their subsequent releases. The old chassis is not bad as long as you keep the body down!
