  1. Well, lets see. We have a ton of model airplanes on sticks in Top Gun. My friend Skip Samples built quite a few of them for the real program and some where used in the movie! An old episode of Starsky and Hutch has one of the bad guys building an AMT Rat Packer Nova with only glue. Nice white and chrome model!
  2. Hey Danno! I think I might make the trek next year and get my toes wet in 'Zona sand! Everytime Phoenix comes up, something else happens around here. I really do need to check you guys out. March Meet In Bakersfield Good Guys in April and so on!
  3. My motto is "Support your local Gunfighter!" We are losing so many contest in So Cal area. Either to lack of support or local goverment making it too costly to have a show. I make the shows when I can and recently they have been great for thinning out what I don't need and finding replacements for them! I usually enter models just to help fill out tables since I never expect to win anything. I am happy with just a thumbs up! And the social aspect is great for catching up with folks you only see at shows or once in a while.
  4. Those and the Skip Hess Revell Kit Mustang would be nice!
  5. Came out really cool! Nice job!
  6. Do you have a pic of this door setup?
  7. Very nice build! It have both donor kits, now I just need to get my butt moving and do it!!
  8. Great trade with Casey! WIll gladly trade with again!
  9. Larson's 68 was a one piece body. Most funnies, even the one piece types, have panel lines on them. Some may have gone smooth, but most kept them just to add the the "Stock" aspect of the cars represented. .

  11. How about the postings being about actual kit reviews and not about speculations on kit announcements. I don't mind discussions about kits, but, page after page of speculations gets pretty boring. Like the thread on the new Ford Pick Up from Moebius. The kit has not been done yet but we have a 26 page thread on it! And the HEMI Cuda has 37 pages!! Just my thoughts
  12. Neat, but, I do not like the whitewalls on it.
  13. I sure do wish funny car teams could make their cars look this cool again! Very nice!
  14. Most of the ones I know of where run as funny cars. There might have been a few in the street categories.
  15. I remember when Playco Toy Store was blowing the Cannonball kits for a $1.50! Wish I still had them in my stash!
  16. Whoa! That looks wild! More pics and welcome to the site!!

  18. Weird, nothing weird here. Just a lady taking a bath outside her house while her kid plays and some guys peeks at her from behind a fence. Yup, nothing weird at all!
  19. Very nice! I have those decals in the stash. Thanks for the inspiration!
  20. How is this? Side Canard Wings Photo by Tom West
  21. You can fit three Ramchargers Dragster kits into one box! Just in case you buy a case of them.
  22. He built show rods. He may have used junk yard parts to create them, but, they where true show rods. Just because he came up with Mickey Mouse's dead beat brother, does not mean he built "Rat" cars.
