Tamiya has a new TS color, TS-96 fluorescent orange that should do the trick

Allot of resin builders use this to prep the body.

I was lucky a few years back when I went the Watkins Glen Motorsport Library they had some kits on sale. I got the Modellers kit for $20. the Modellers kit had nice metal parts for the rear view mirrors, gas caps and taillights.

Try and find .5mm wire or .8mm wire otherwise you would need a pin gauge of those sizes. To small for calipers to get a good reading.

One is probably for Revolution which is .5mm standard. I have both the Eclipse and the.5 setup and the Revolution I never compared them but I will have to check them out now. I like having both the Eclipse .35 and the Revolution with.5, no need to change setups. The Revolution is pretty much my workhorse.

It is usually streamed live from the official site, all 24 hrs. I haven't missed for about 7 yrs now. If you want a taste of the race look up the 6hr qualifying race from a few weeks back

I will use the decals to make a mask and airbrush it when I build it. Tell Ritchie he did a great job.

I ma not sure about limits so here are more pics.

This is my build of the Belkits Ford Fiesta WRC. There is a problem noted on the net about the tires melting plastic. I covered the wheels with foil as a barrier,I put foil under the paint in the well for the spare tire. The seat belt parts are photo etch and come with kit. They have ribbon for belts but I used cloth medical tape airbrushed with Testors Majik Blue Acrylic. I also drilled out and opened up the molded on door handles. The decals are going to be fun. I had to adjust the front ride height and centering wheels in openening.

I think Tamiya's molding is better. Some Hasegawa kits I had took allot more cleanup on smaller parts. The new Beemax kits are really nice too.

It's not dyed. It is etched by the hot primer, It need sanding and polishing to bring it back.
