I have that one too. I think it's still one of the nicest plastic kits ever made. The treaded tires are beautiful. There is allot of parts in that box

Try Amazon. Do use primer under it. It has very solid pigments, drys fast and can be recoated any time. I usually put a few coats on let dry, then sand it down with 2400 or 3200 grit and then put a few final coats on then polish.

For white cars you cannot find any thing better than Krylon White Lacquer

WD40 takes tape and label residue off of any thing. Wash with soap and water after use

Very nice job on an old, fiddly kit. Growing up I thought the J car was a very cool car. It was use to develop the Mk4 that won the 1967 Lemans.
