im trying to start my first garage diorama. i have foam board for the base and the walls. i want to make the floors a weathered concrete but am not sure how to achieve that effect.

this kit i got is a monograme 2 in 1 55 bel air hard top

another update on the 55. got the interior started i used embrosey powder for the carpet and think it looks pretty realistic and to scale. then with the body i got it all wet sanded, buffed, polished, and waxed but i have to go over it a little more. hope you like.

here is some updated pics of my build so far. if the red on the car looks different that's because it is. i had to remove all of the paint from what i sprayed on there in the beginning and start over. this i my first all shiny model im working on and im following through on it. ive tried before but ended up making it rusty but not this one.... i hope lol.

Bottom of the eclipse, im going for a driven look. i primered it then i took some vallijo black grey paint and sprayed some areas to create shadows then i used ak interactive dark wash to create darker shadows and the fuel cell is painted with model masters steel paint. still have a little more detail to add to it but turning out good so far

Very creative love what your doing who puts a enzo engine into a old chevy coupe... very cool

Well im feeling a little adventurous on this kit im going to make functioning door on it. I've read a little bit in magazine about doing it and watch a couple videos so hopefully i dont mess it up lol. Have any tips feel free could use all the advise i can get on this one lol. but if i mess it up they always say you learn best from your mistakes.

New model that Im starting, bought it off ebay for a good price. Im making this one pretty much box stock with a little more detail. i love this car from the movie and the 1st fast and furious is my favorite the originals are always the best.

Bought some stencils at my local hobby shop,the stencils are from house of color and seemed to turn out pretty good.

Bill- I put the crackle paint down first then when the paint was dry i took the weathered wood distressed ink and vintage photo distressed ink and put it on top of the paint and it just filled in the cracks. i also sprayed a mist of water on the inks to blend them together.
