  1. here's my one and only coe..... so far!
  2. so do I ever get any more GB or whatever to post with? Or do I just run out and that's it?
  3. So you can only post a certain amount and that's it? I only have 18kb to post whether its on my own topic or someone else's, how is that?
  4. Thanks Dennis! ive been watching your Cat build and the rogers build, those things are usin up a lot of plastic!
  5. thanks fellas, I have a heat gun that ive used and it works fine, but ive heard of using hot water, just curious to try the water thing!
  6. Terry, what method do you use to bend styrene? Hot water or a heat gun?
  7. Jarda, everything looks great so far (as expected), but I have to ask, where do the air line fittings come from?
  8. I'm about to order a b67 from AITM, and believe me, I will be trying it!
  9. Jeff, very nice builds, where did you get the drive tires on the bill signs?
  10. Dave at AITM carries the resin 34000 tandem suspension I believe
  11. We had a guy run a 963 cat off the side of a trailer once, and yeah butt clencher is the right word. I stood a bobcat up on its rear door once.....same feeling!
  12. I too wanted to use the DM 600 as a base for the b model, but I was told it wouldn't work because the frame flares out at the front, maybe the dm800 would be better? As for the shift levers, I'm not sure but I think Mack had some single trans units that used two sticks
  13. Thanks fellas, this truck was finished a while back, if you search for it, its in the under glass section.
  14. Thanks fellas, this was my first truck that I did any sort of detailing on, its what got me back into modeling. The last model before this one was about 10-12 years ago.
  15. I didn't like the auto trans either, so I did what I could with what I had, is it perfect? Absolutely not bit it gives a decent visual. I will give you one other tip if you haven't built one of these already, some of the cabs don't want to tilt all the way forward (like mine!) So I would suggest a lot of trimming and test fitting before you do your final install.
  16. If you can rob the engine from a Louisville, I think you will be happy with the result. I tried to post some images of mine last night but there were too big. If you go back 7 or 8 pages in the on the workbench section and look for the title that says 1959 c600 3208 engine swap then you can see some of the pics of mine.
  17. I tried the Detroit swap on mine, I have a couple 6v92's and they were too big. What I did was use the cat 1160 from the Louisville Ford and converted the auto trans to resemble a manual one. The cat would be something that could have been in the truck from the factory.
  18. Thanks Gator! I have really enjoyed this build, this kit has gone together very easy with no real issues and the detail is fairly decent. Looking forward to see your paystar!
  19. Thanks Terry, I want a big burly bumper bit I can't decide what to do, I haven't seen anything that really jumped out at me, I guess I'll just have to start building one and go from there!
