  1. Ken, I'm just curious as to how you hinged your doors, I opened the ones on my mixer and they were a pain to hinge.
  2. Finally, I know what to do with at least one of mine! I'm sure its gonna look great Terry!
  3. Haaa! Clayton, I was gonna throw in an orange joke toward JT, but I thought everyone ribs him enough so I left him alone! Thanks Ken, I like the heavy haulers, just big bulky power!
  4. orange, orange and more orange! I wanted a lighter faded orange look, so I picked up some model master go mango. its sort of a pastel color. I plan to get some color on the frame this week if weather permits!
  5. copy away buddy, that's why we post here, sharing ideas is what makes it all happen!
  6. Thanks guys! Clayton, I promise that once you start, you won't be able to quit! I think the detailing is my favorite part, the more the better, and its very rewarding when finished. Terry, I'm debating on opening the doors but I haven't made my mind up yet. We talked a while ago about the mesh, but I never ordered anything, instead I used splash guards for frying pans, and I think they are just about perfect. Thanks again for the kind words fellas!
  7. I think im DONE with plumbing for now..... well at least as far as the chassis goes. I also ventured into making a mesh style deck plate which I think turned out pretty good. now im itching to throw some color on the frame but im gonna restrain myself until the engine is fully mocked up. enough gabbing, here's some pics.
  8. Oh, no complaints on pics here, they look nostalgic!
  9. Ken I like the white walls, it reminds me of an old KW add( at least I think it was KW?) Either way your paint jobs are outstanding! I also like your photography because its different, every little detail may not show up but it looks great to me!
  10. if im not mistaken, en wicker carries some auslowe stuff and I think he has the steerable front axles.
  11. Yes, that's pretty big for a gasser that isn't built to the gills, about 2-3 inches is where you wanna be.
  12. Is the builder Ricou29? If so I have seen the progress and it is nice!
  13. Those are some great models there! I really like the kW cbe!
  14. that's basically what I used as a starting point for the one on my mixer.
  15. does anyone out there have GOOD pics of the fifth wheel setup from a real paystar? ive searched the ol interweb to my wits end, thanks in advance guys!
  16. I thought so, I thought it would have beat my truck, but I think the judges were on something.
  17. I thought so! Was that was your milk truck as well?
  18. If no one here has any, someone has cast them and was selling them on eBay.
