  1. I've often wondered about the 1/35 dozers working out to be a smaller dozers in 1/25. Cool find Terry!
  2. Man, that's almost exactly what I was lookin for, I forgot about plaskit. I've already ordered a PTO from AITM, but haven't received it yet, if I can't use it I'll definitely hit up plaskit, thanks a lot! Thanks for the kind words fellas!
  3. Don't forget the Detroit! Was it a 71 or 92? I think it was a 8v92 but I can't remember.
  4. I agree with ya Mikey, they do look too big, I have been making my own license plates, but fuel stickers are a little different being that I want ones from nc, but can't find any pics of them from 1975 and on back. Maybe nc didn't use fuel decals then, I don't know, but I would like to find out. Thanks for the help though fellas, I'm sure I'll get this figured out in the end!
  5. You're close, you got the syringe part right!
  6. I've never seen anyone portray a freshly greased fifth wheel and I have been trying to recreate the look for about a week now, and I think I came to a pretty decent conclusion today. I'm not gonna tell how I did it just yet, because I want you guys to guess! If anyone has done this already, please post your way and a pic because there's more than one way to skin a cat!
  7. holy cow, Terry just suggested a Detroit?????!!!!!! Just picking Terry, couldn't resist the ribbin! But yeah, I think the 6v would be cool, and unusual!
  8. Are you gonna use the hauler bed behind it?
  9. Very versatile kit, I like it just for the frame because of the length.
  10. Just a little class 8 diesel info, most truck compressors are gear driven off the timing gear set or the rear or the crank/flywheel.
  11. Would the dm800 frame work? I know the suspension would be too heavy.
  12. how easy was it to remove the "engine" from the AITM frame rail?
  13. I think I'm gonna jump into this build, but it won't be head on until later on this year, but I'm curious, does anyone know if the dm600 chassis would be appropriate for a B67?
  14. I know on the newer macks the compressor is on the right side of the engine.
  15. Awesome! If somebody don't make it, then scratch it, there's more than one way to skin a cat!
  16. Well, I don't really like too, considering the danger of it, but sometimes you just got too! (Still dangerous though) Cool thing was, the door was letter just like bj's only with the guys own name on the side, it was spot on!
  17. These were the best pics I could get, considering the circumstances, but none the less a sweet old KW wearing bj and the bear dress.
  18. I really can't understand why they still have the fl bit not the Dr's.
  19. I bet that's why he didn't answer the phone yesterday!?
  20. looks good so far! one question though..... WHERE did you get those tires????????
  21. Lookin good! I always had a soft spot for a white chassis!
  22. I feel your pain on the cleaning/filling in on the wheels and tires, but its worth it because no one else does the old stuff like AITM!
  23. I'm wandering if anyone out there has any info on old (1970's and earlier) fuel tax stickers or ICC stickers. I've searched with no luck. I want some stickers from NC especially. Thanks in advance!
