  1. Only one from my bench this year... No motivation at all.
  2. '41 Lincoln Zephyr coupe Lincoln Mark VIII Caddy CTS-V Ferrari 166MM barchetta Jaguar XJ-13 prototype early Pantera (full detail) Porsche 550 Spyder
  3. A pic of my 1:1 ride... windows tinted since the pic was taken.
  4. I'm not concerned about the optional speed parts. All I ask is that car is right. Fix the oil pan so it is a correct "double sump" shape. A proper driveshaft with correct u-joints at both ends. Springs/sway bars. If you're going to do the 15" ten hole or the 16" pony wheels, make em correct. Correct LX tail lights. Please make sure the exhaust is correct, and that the tail pipes are symmetrical, since they are quite visible on the LX. And do something with the side mirrors, as the mirrors in the 93 Cobra kit are just plain wrong.
  5. I'll believe it when I see it...
  6. Yeah, a 1/24 Birdcage would be awesome!
  7. I built mine this way, no problems fitting the interior and chassis later.
  8. Recently picked up this as my daily driver, an '08 Mustang V6 Premium with Pony Package:
  9. I've got this kit sorta in progress... meaning it's stalled, because I am in a build slump. Pay close attention fitting all the panels (nose, hood, cowl) together. I a little time spent here will pay off big in the end.
  10. I'd run a program like Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware just to make sure there isn't some nasty software lurking in your PC...
  11. I had an '89 LX ragtop... and every driver that pulled up next to me would see the 5.0 badge and want to race... it never failed! lol!

Where did ya get the whitewall tires?
  13. Excellent work!! You really did that kit justice!
  14. 70 built, plus a promo. And because I ran out of room, these are in boxes for now.
  15. I use Plastruct Bondene liquid cement, Zap thin CA (super glue), Formula 560 canopy glue (flexible white glue, dries clear), and 5 minute epoxy, depending on the application.
  16. Cool project! You find the Allison decals yet?
  17. Very cool!! Would be sweet to see these old racers re-popped...
  18. I am seriously hoping this kit actually makes it. After the Accurate Miniatures "leaf spring Cobra" debacle, I don't believe any announcement until I see it for sale.
  19. This one hits all the right buttons... nice build!
  20. Interesting take on the sunroof shape!
  21. Probably meant to say "Any news on the Academy Cobra Daytona Coupe kit?".
  22. Wheels and tires from the Revell '67 Charger, door mirror from the Monogram GTO Judge kit, Cobra Colors paint.
  23. Bob Downie's recent 250TR build got me looking at my kit again. The decal sheet in the kit has three sets of numbers, 14, 12, and 102, but no instructions as to what cars and races these are supposed to represent. The #14 on the roundels appear to be for the '58 Sebring winner, but that car was RHD. Any ideas for the other sets of numbers?
  24. I like using the airbrush to hit the panel lines and high spots prior to the full color coats. Seems to work well keeping the paint from pulling away from the edges using cans or airbrushing all the way through.
  25. Neat project, and one not often seen. Nice work!
