Very cool, Simon!! I just got my hands on the recent Fujimi kit of the 1969 Gulf Oil GT40, and it looks downright simple compared to these two builds!!

Get some 91% rubbing alcohol, enough to cover the model. It takes Tamiya paint off pretty quickly.

Revell's '99 Cobra has an N/A 4.6L DOHC, Revell F-150 Lightning has a blown 5.4L SOHC, and the PL Ford GT has a Blown 5.4L SOHC with a transaxle, even though it should have DOHC heads. I think the Revell Mustang Mach III concept car had a blown 4.6L DOHC as well. -

Not sure if it's under $30 or not, but the Paasche H is a solid single action airbrush that's not alot of $$ -
