  3. Nice!
  4. I love the color - nice paintwork!!
  5. I'm not into the bikes, but that turned out real nice!!
  6. Mine is an older unit that has a seperate motor and belt driven pump, not nearly as loud as the newer oil-less type pumps. As said above, wahtever type of compressor you get, be sure to get a regulator and a moisture trap.
  7. I use a 12 gallon Craftsman compressor that I have for the garage. I used a tankless compressor before that, but that thing hasn't seen the light of day for a couple years...not even sure where it is...lol!

Yeah!! Looks great from all angles - ya done good!!
  9. That thing looks evil!!
  10. You got that right, the wheels and tires in the GT kit are, well, never going to be used on anything. Ever.
  11. Nice build!! I agree on the hood too...
  12. Got a pair of Pegasus sleeves with Michelin Pilot type tires today (Thanx Matt!!), and went to work. I narrowed the Tamiya wheel, then chucked it into a drill and milled the wheel down with a file. Still have a little fine tuning of the Tamiya wheel's edge to do, but the larger wheel and tire fits the car quite well. Update: Finished up the wheel mods on the GT. Touched up all the nicks and scratches with Tamiya TS-30 silver, did a final bit of finishing on the wheel edges and glued them in the sleeves with Zap CA. The O.D. of the new wheels and tires are identical to the kit's wheels and tires, so there was no need to raise or lower the suspension to get the stance. Now it's off to the strip tank for the body and chrome parts... Brian
  13. I'm not feeling the funky hood, but the rest of it looks way cool!

  19. Nice work, Randy!!
  20. That is a nice lookin' Vette!!
  21. rock, metal, new wave, blues, or news and talk radio...just depends on the mood I guess...
  22. Dan, Thanx for the offer, but those looks like they would be more at home on a GT-350R project. Here's some pics of some alternate Cobra wheels. The first one looks like the optional wheels in the AMT 1:16 Cobra kit, the others look like Cobra Daytona wheels. Are either of these wheels out there in 1:24 scale?
  23. I'm tryng to find an alternate set of wheels for the ex-Monogram 427 Cobra kit. Don't get me wrong, I'm diggin' the twelve spoke Halibrands that come in the kit, but I have two on the shelf, and two more in the pile. One is going to be a full street car with no hood scoop and rear exit exhaust, the other is going to be a ficticious "weekend warrior" S/C that is going to sit on a racecar trailer behind an F-350 dually. I'd like to set these two apart, and some different wheels is a start. I'd like to find wheels that could have been used on a 427 Cobra back in the day. Any ideas? Thanx! Brian
  24. And a Merry Christmas too you too!
