  1. Thanks JT! I've been building for four years
  2. Your penchant for details is amazing! I enjoy learning from your projects.
  3. The weathering is off the charts! Beautiful work Randy.
  4. 10-17-16 Trailer Update: The trailer is built along with the logging bunks for it. There’s still plenty to do on it though. The side rails were cut from a plastic sign. This allowed the rails to be continuous with no splices. Here it is in the squaring jig: Hosted on Fotki This picture shows the mounts and supports for the trailer on the truck frame: Hosted on Fotki Here’s the trailer standing on its own: Hosted on Fotki And on the truck: Hosted on Fotki
  5. Great model subject! The weathering and interior look great.
  6. Absolutely! It's not the build, but the price.
  7. My question is...has he actually sold any of these "works of art" "There's a sucker born every minute" P.T. Barnum
  8. That's the most realistic weathering I've seen on a dozer build! Well done!
  9. Outstanding build and details...a home run!

  12. Welcome aboard Josh. That's a sharp looking Transtar!
  13. Right now my current project is the T800 logger and trailer. When this is complete, I want to resume my CAT D11 dozer project that's been on the shelf since June 2015: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/97889-cat-d11-bulldozer-06-21-15-update/?page=1 As vincen47 stated, I also have many builds in the planning/dreaming stages
  14. Nothing wrong with this paint job! The black will certainly complement the frame color.
  15. I checked the JB Weld site and they offer various versions. Is there a particular one that you would recommend for casting parts?
  16. I'm glad you started this post Jordan. All fine looking builds that deserve recognition.
  17. Brian, That's unfortunate about the paint.. Do you think the cab paint could be safely removed soaking in Purple Power? I've used it with resin parts without any problems.
  18. Wishing all the best on your new career!
