  1. Once again...thanks guys for all of the great comments regarding this build!
  2. Thanks Dan, Paul, Dominik and Bill for the nice compliments on this build. Dominik....you can have some vanilla icecream!
  3. Thanks guys for all of the great compliments on this build. As I said earlier, it was a very enjoyable kit to build but I wasn't too fussy on the wide whitewall tire decal. Seems as though the decal was very thick and didn't want to lay down over the tire too well. I had to use an exceptional amount of decal set to soften it up a bit and then a little dullcoat brushed over the whitewall to take some of the shine off.
  4. Three more pics.
  5. I just finished this build up today of the Revell 1950 Olds 88 Club Coupe. A very nice model to build with no issues to speak of. I wasn't real fussy about the wide whitewall tire decal but managed after several coats of decal set to get it to lay down over the tire. Parts fit together very well and the model has nice details to it. I painted this one in Model Master "Phoenician Yellow" which is a very close match to the factory colour "Nankeen Cream". Have a look and see what you think and thanks for checking it out.
  6. Great job on the Impala! The detail is exceptional under the hood!

    Chrysler 300

Fantastic looking Chrysler C-300! I agree with the others....it's flawless looking. Way to go!
  8. Great looking Duster Carl!
  9. Thanks everyone!
  10. Thanks everyone Harry they are painted. Didn't show up too well I guess with the lighting the way it was.
  11. And my 1967 Shelby GT-350.
  12. Here is my 1967 Mustang GT.
  13. Very nice indeed. The colour really makes it pop......especially against the dark background.
  14. Thanks David...yes this kit was very enjoyable to build with no issues. Parts fit perfectly together. I would like to see more cars from Moebius. A bit pricey though at around $30.00 Canadian dollars.
  15. I had this kit ninety percent completed when I lost interest in it and after finishing my Moebius 1955 Chrysler C-300 I decided to finish it. Typical old '60's tooling so it looks a little more rougher around the edges than some of the newer tooled kits of today but none the less I still appreciate being able to still get these old kits. It is a bit of a challenge to make these old kits look presentable which is part of the fun building them, Having said that, here is my finally finished 1962 Buick Electra 225. Thanks for checking it out.
  16. Thanks everyone!
  17. Thanks guys for all of the great comments on this build and the warm welcome to this forum. Merkur XR4Ti I just used Model Master "tan" enamel brush paint for the interior and Tamiya "semi-gloss black" for the black accents and the floor.
  18. I still have my original built MPC 1973 Camaro Z/28 that I built back in 1972. It is the only survivor from that era! The rest ended up in the trash for various reasons!
  19. Thanks everyone for the great comments. Thanks Dave for the welcome to the forum. I'm looking forward to participating here. Haubenschild. I did not use anything to mask off the valve covers it was all done freehand.... I just made sure I did not drink too much coffee beforehand to keep me from the shakes. Gotta watch that caffeine!
  20. Hello everyone I am new in this forum and I would like to show my last finished model which I completed about a week ago. This is my first post in this forum. This is the Moebius 1955 Chrysler C-300 which I painted in Model Master "Wimbledon White" to replicate the factory colour "Platinum White". It was a great kit to build and fit together very nicely.
