  1. Ok my mistake , I blame I on auto spell .... The real Christine was a plymouth fury, I'm trying to fig out if there are dual carbs in the amt Christine reboxing . The real Christine had dual carbs Thanks ace garage guy I think I'll just get some dual carbs from my stash
  2. Hi , for the people that have had the amt belvedere pontiac , does the kit Coe. With dual carburetor as well? lol I guess I'll have to find dual carbs in the stash ...
  3. Yes that is true ! He is a mustang hoarder, leave some for us dano! Or at least trade me a anniversary mustang lol jk nice build! Can't wait to see final results!
  4. Why not the 24hr hr build? I couldn't do it lol, there is just not enough time for paint and glue to dry and plan things out
  5. Those are some nice models you've got there, I like the chevlle station wagon I've never seen those other cars built
  6. yea I can see how that can happen !!! quote name="om617" post="1169172" timestamp="1398702586"]I enjoy the the mix of modern tecknology with classic design. I also admire the crafmaship of those who do radical custom kits even if it`s not always my cup of tea. As for myself i just cant leave anything completely stock because i have to at least adjust the ride height or change the wheels, and then the ball start rolling lol.
  7. Isn't that weird peter31a? Lol idk for now I guess I'll enjoy the factory stock building bug that's gotten to me ! Lol
  8. I mainly have interest in muscle cars from 60 70 80 90s . Some rat rods and trucks from the 50 60 70s. I ignore mascars and dragsters as well as modern vehicles.
  9. Even my real car is all stock ' 2001 honda civic lx . Something I am sure most people will tune up and race around in!!!. I think there is a stage where too many aftermarket parts and stuff can actually make any real car look cheap, or kinda off. If a car is going to be modded it has to be modded correctly , not like one aftermarket ground effects bumper in the front and the back stock lol, or a million colors or stripes in a hood or body, and you wonder why that is there? Lol. Or a different color hood , primered hood and the rest painted.
  10. Lol haha, idk if it comes with age or what, who knows maybe I'll get back to that modified car phase again! Lol. For now I'm enjoying the simplicity and beauty of a factory stock build
  11. I'm kinda the same way now rob , maybe I'll do subtle modifications like rally's or cragars but keep the car clean.
  12. Hey this paint looks like it matches what im looking for. Im going to look for this at the hobby shop or online. Thanks!!!! Not yet, i should
  13. As I'm getting older , I'm realizing I'm not customizing model cars as much as I used to with big rims and flashy paint outside of factory stock . I'm beginning to have an appreciation for stock builds, stock rims , factory correct paint, etc. Is this normal? Lol have any of you guys experienced this transition? Lol
  14. Does anyone know who makes teal spraypaint? Relatively cheap? So I can paint this mustang!
  15. I do not like tamiyas subject matter as well, all imports quote name="checkmate" post="1162057" timestamp="1397790569"]There's only one real issue with Tamiya, their subject matter is garbage. And remember this is only my opinion but German and British touring cars, F1, Japanese cars and European supercars have zero interest to me.
  16. I like this design, nice color choice for this style
  17. Nice paint , nice lowrider rims
  18. Haha I take it cause it's always dry there, humidity sucks here in wi in the summer. Sticky , hard to breathe the air', and you can barely paint models in the summer! I wanna paint all year round ! Lol
  19. Yea I need to invest in one lol, when humidity is high I can still paint! That woul be nice since wi has a lot of humid days
  20. Now that it's gonna be nicer out, do you guys use a dehumidifier to bring down humidity in ur paint rooms?
  21. Nice model , love this car!
  22. Those are so,e funny looking tires ...
  23. Give BMf a try sometime, it's not too hard just have a sharp knife and cotton swabs Yes the hood stripes are a major pain. You have to scrape and press and keep working the wrinkles out without tearing them. Then, if your lucky like me one side falls off onto a piece of black electrical tape and sticks to it. You can see the blue color is pulled off of the passenger side. Every model, every model I try to assemble comes out with at least one blemish. time. Foil? Not me. That's just a can of worms I do not want to open. I would make a major mess out of that.
  24. Looks pretty nice to me, maybe just a little black wash on the grille . Looks super clean
  25. Beautiful impala , dam all of these 59 imp alas being built are making me wanna build mines !
