  1. thnx blair the door is fitted , front runner on , need to make a rear one .. sadly after gluing it affected the sides of the door a bit .. but after some rubbing with a cloth it want so bad , actually with minour weathering it might look cool.. later i do want to add some very very mild wethering , like where the chain hangs .. irl no matter how clean a garage is there will be some minour black on the wall from hands .. so the plan is to do sime very very mild weathering , like still clean and glossy ..but weather stuff that isnt sticking out or makes it look real dirty
  2. stained the newly added wood .... and made some outdoor shots , here the colors come out way better now i have to make window frames , a doorframe and get good material for all windows , need something thats clear and i have enough to do all the windows ..
  3. while the door guiders i painted need a lot of drytime .. i started some more woodwork , placed strips of hardwood along the offve edge to create some more depth 2 protective strips along the sides of the bottom parts
  4. just rubbed the silver with a cloth , not really vivible on the picture because the sulver lights up but on eye sight the edges are darker wich gives it more depth ...added a strip on top and 2 rivets
  5. soo sooo nice , cant waight to see this come together with some awsome paint
  6. some of mine ,
  7. dude ... soooo nice love it
  8. how did you forget that hahahah lol make one of them into a pickup
  9. nice build , gass tank looks superb !! leave that brass and maybe give it a wash for depth ???
  10. whouw just loving this build <3 whow
  11. really cool !! looking awsome !!
  12. not done and no he door is not fixed to the wall , just clamped it inbetween the opening for pictures , still need some rails layer of silver , some decals a yellow stripe for safety and tbh the yellow line works most for realism en to break the silver a bit ...
  13. nono hahaha i wish .. no i dont have the patience to go that far , just put the piece of the door in the opening and made they tray separate , in the tray a wooden stick with 2 strips so it looks like its rolled , added a chain and thats that.. when thats assembly is placed against the wall it looks like the door rolls into that .. just a quick simple solution i do need to make guidence on the doorposts .. where the door slides in up and down the roller so to say is now painted silver , i want to ad some minour details and then try to mount it
  14. crappy pics but for the idea .... stained the wooden office edge , that will get more detail later on dont mind the door and window openings in the office , this is just the base i will make windowframes and a doorframe with a door and windows , in proportion so then it will fit the scale .. now those are just pillars with big open spaces that makes it look too big , so that will come together later on started on the rolling door rolled up part with chains , no electric door other wise they get lazy haha the door also need some guiderails on the inside of the opening
  15. thnx already stainded the wood edge of the office and now i'm making a roll up door .. will post pics when thats in , not really working that fast atm
  16. after thinking about it for days and days .. i got stuck .. tonight i was sick of the fact i could not come up with something and i didnt like the look ... so i gathered a bunch of scrap wood and started building , no thinking just build , in no time i had this going on and the idea's started coming again !! so the white pillars are thick , nice and stirdy , the wooden edge gives me room to continue the theme with stained wood , white and the racing blocks also the wide edge makes room for some advertising signs and what not .. now later i will make windowframes in between the white pillars , a doorframe with opened door so scale wise thatw ill be good later on ... then i will add a ceiling on the office ..... that will give me the chance to put lighting in the office .... so in the office i will keep the floor . but scrap the 50's furniture idea , instead i will put in some archive cabinets with books , a desk ... some office stuff and what not .. so overall the garage will remain a cleaner one but with a more rough look , with rough i mean not the over the top 50's look with red bench and juke box etc .. looking back thats just not my thing for a dio .. one day i will do stuff like that but then i want to build a full diner / drive trough ...
  17. yeah bit tired atm .. this weekend i dont have any time but i hope to do some stuff next week
