  6. thnx and yes i know thats what i was planning to do but found it too timeconsuming in between car builds (lazy me hehehehe) thnx !
  7. really really cool !!!
  8. and then it became a die-cast nah but i think its so close to a bare metal die-cast car .. need more detail with some blak also did some minour imperfection on purpose to give it that bare metal rough look
  9. well started fitting the 3-d brick sheets some close ups of the depth in them , also they are not just plain flat some stick out more as a whole , made sides from ribbed plastic , that actually came from old window blinds for your house ... the floor will change also just painted that in the beginning will be more detailed , maybe partly tiles with some small stuff in there
  10. this stuff dyes so fast i could already do a dryfit the panellines where silver again after drying so i went through them with a steel pin and the dark line was back
  11. thnx finally found something for the walls , the thing is due to the hotrod builds the garage got a bit on the sidetrack .. also i just was not happy with the walls .. i just did not have the time and will to make every single stone and build up the walls .. just dont have the time with the hotrod builds , wich are more important and fun for me then the garage .. today i went to a larger store for glue , styrene , brass and more and found these printed walls (made for train sets) its not just a flat print its a bit 3-d so there are depths in between the bricks ... not a whole lot but enough so it does not look terrible.. they where cheap so i decided to buy some and try it out .. on the pics i only placed a few loose pieces to see how it looked , not glued or trimmed perfect with a bit of weathering i think they will look cool so if i paint the pillars metal like and make some cross braces i can make the walls out of these sheets .. could be done even nicer by making the bricks yourself but timewise i'm going to use these
  12. good enough first i need to get the bare metal going > after spraying it always looks tight , wrubbing it with a cloth will make it come alive and going more towards bare metal , after that a mild sandpaper will really make it ....... the preshading of the panellines worked awsome from now on i will do it like this , they actually look real dark without becoming all black , also this way i really got it more even and tight then doing it afterwards
  13. thnx guys and no he stopped to fit snow chains
  14. yeaaahh just how i love it > great idea !!!!!
  15. awsome !!!!! looks so good to be dead hounest i dont like the green but the cab weathering and colors are just stunning , the wheels would look so cool in the blue of the cab and then with some added filth
  16. thnx , well today i'm going to a large shop here in holland and i will look at allthe different powders and weather sets
  17. ooh right well thats stuff i just dont know but i uderstand it , thnx for the info but def. will remember this .... stupid dutch guy i am
  18. your def. one of my favorite builders here , the pure finish and cleanness is just awsome , the realism is high looking at your models
  19. you need to post your old gass station in the diorama section , that one is insane !!!!!!
  20. awsome !!
  21. thnx guys and @bug , its a combination of some partsbox parts so i used a flathead from a nother kit and with some randon mixed parts out of the partsbox builkd the blower on it
  22. hey thnx , well yes that kind of the thing i'm still in doubt about , the engine .. the original revell engine is too tiny so thats not going in .. then i do have some lager blocks in the partsbox and one drag racing engine .. those would need to be build up from scratch all just blocks .. i do have a awsome flathead and that one fits like a glove , i only have to make some mounts for it so it will stay on the right hight.. also i have some real brass stacks that would look cool on some scratch build carbs dryfit > drilled the spark plug holes open but like you said a big block could be awsome too , still leaning towards this flathead , i just love them and it fits the theme with a big block you def. would not need the weightsave from the holes lol you would have enough power to run it with a massive body right ? so the flathead being less powerfull would fit with all the speedholes weightsave wise and therefore ....
  23. very very interesting !!!!!!!
