  1. some more work on the grinder true size lol added a switch cord that will be on after paint , and if you look close (also previous pic) you can see the sided handle is actually ribbed
  2. started on the angle grinder today , pfft small .. look at the pin needle next to it lol now the cutting disk needs to be real thin my idea is to try double sided printing on thicker matte photo paper to make the cutting disk also need a switch , powercord ..
  3. thnx guys !! .. been thinking what to make next for that area ... angle grinder , small version of a metal mill , like one that can sit on the bench ....a guy would send me some old tiny drill bits so i hope to make a box with dril bits in it ... a clamp / vice for the drill ... well enough to make .. and after that i need to think about an engine hoist and maybe stand ... a floorjack ... and inside the office i need to make stuff like chairs / table ? stuff like that so much still that can be added .. oh posters and advertisement stuff
  4. there was a job that needed to be done still .. make skirting all around the floor / wall ... strated with a low skirt along the long wall behind the lift total vieuw all around there is a skirt now inside the entrance / front desk and along the office and rolling door the machine shop again
  5. thnx and yes blair you are spot on !!!! i had a axle with dif. left so ... its in , powercord , some filth and some grinddust on the bench
  6. paint dryed , fitted the grindstones , now i need to ad the switch , cord and plug ... the clear protection pads
  7. painted the housing red , the foot base (square below) will be painted a nother color later .. also made grind stones from plastic rings , looks way better in tickness and shape
  8. started a grindstone bench ... very rough start > these stones are from a dremel , i didnt have the ticker round ones anymore .. i will try to make some styrene stones and make them look like grindstoned , although these are not like bad ..
  9. just did some mild weathering , i want to keep the garage relativly clean but soem stuff just have to have some grease and filth to be more convincing started on the vice and drill , look at the vice and compare it to the last pic of the previous post , that really helped make the vice look more realisctic , before the wash it looked more like a toy i guess .. the drill got some very mild black along the lines and creases of the silver .. just to make it pop more and define the lines better while at the same time creating a illusion of shade .. didnt go all out i'd reather add a bit later then overdo it now the lift .. the white has a slight blur of black , on the pics it doent really show the white lights up to much in pictures .. the lift legs got a wilder wash really getting black in the creases ...
  10. its on the bench , added switches and a powercord with plug into the wall socket
  11. thnx !! whell painted more clear on the green , made the drill table like irl matte steel depth in the holes with a wash then fitted the parts ... still needs a switch panel with on/off switch , a powercord that gos into a wall outlet and some iron filings from drilling op de hendels moeten nog zwarte ronde knopjes
  12. thnx richard (hihi) just started the detail painting .. more to come , the green will get some clear gloss later
  13. made the housing where the pullys and belt drive would sit in motor , emergency shut down push button on the front chrome on the base , now the lowest part will be flatt black , the drill tray will stay silver on top but the thick sides will be painted in the drill house color (green) lever in chrome , now i ned 3 small round balls for the ends and spray those black drill house in green , with on top louvres for cooling (belt)
  14. more rough work on the press drill
  15. yes thats just something else .. cant stop watching all the small details
  16. perfect and totally my thing thse revel kits are such a joy to work with
  17. start of the small standing drill for the bench (how do you guys call that ??) just a rough start , it wil be taller and more refined
  18. thnx guys !! here are better pics in daylight
  19. thnx dave well next to this against the wall will be a smaller bench , more conventional .. this one will get all orts of machines , standing drill , small table mill , grinder etc .. at this point i'm happy with the bench , just did some work and now i actually find it cool .. put a asortment of decals on it and that helped , together with the wooden skirt below i like it now when all the machines are build and on and some outlets and cords ... light above the bench it will pop i think glued the wooden top to the base , put steel pint underneith and glued it on so it hugs the walls on the sides .. it a bit fidely to get the bench inbetween the walls and low wall but its in and snug glued the vice on the corner , best place and whow suddenly there was a guy playing with a chevy modelcar ooo00000
