Yeh, I remember the RC Cola Wagon. I believe it was done because Walmart refused to sell anything alcohol related to kids. I like RC, but when that kit was on the shelf I had no interest in it. It's my love of Mountian Dew that got me interested in building this kit. Scott

Are the side coves on this kit seperate pieces? That should make painting the side coves easier to paint a different color than the rest of the body. I like that idea. Scott

Boy, Ron if you were to describe this truck to me. A '53 Ford, extended cab, dually, and those colors. I'd think there was no way that thing could look good. But, as they say see is believing. Your truck is stunning! It looks right in every way. Well done! Scott

The Gray Green looks a lot better than it sounds. Great color for something from this era. Scott

Several times I've come back to look at this posting. So maybe it's time to say something? I'm impressed. It's a great looking model. Right or wrong? Because of your build, I keep thinking about buying a Trumpeter Ranchero. Price is the only thing stopping me so far. But, seeing your build, I might just get past that. Scott

I especially love the interior on the car. Very nice. Have to go to the truck section and see your '65 Chevy. Scott P.S. I always work on several kits at a time. The painting is one big reason. As the paint is drying I can work on something else. And if some parts from two or more kits need the same color, I paint them at the same time.

By the way, Emmanuel, I hope you show us and tell us more about your '75 and snowplow Gremlins in the very near future. And Jules, I hope what you said about your wife isn't totally true. Though now you know part of reason I've never gotten married. Most gals I've dated were like that. Scott

Next to cars and trucks, I love to build models of spacecraft. I mostly built fictional spacecraft. But, the real stuff creeps in from time to time. This is one of the nicest and most expensive models I've ever had the pleasure of building. This kit is beautiful in every way. Believe it or not, it's a snap together kit! It's 1:100 scale. 180 parts, predecerated. It stands 43 1/2 inches tall when finished. Comes with a great 14 page instruction book, were the first four pages tell you about the real vehicle and it's missions. Build time was quick. It maybe took me 4 hours to assemble. Most parts snap together very firmly. Only with a few very small parts did I use a little glue. I got to say, I was blown away by this kit. There are other subjects 4D Vision offers that I'm looking forward to building in the future. Scott

I see you added more photos as I was writing my first set of comments on your blue Gremlin. Now you show us two more. Very cool! I especially get a kick out of the Gremlin with the plow. Some very nice builds. All three of them. Scott

Very nice! I like it, a lot. The vinyl roof looks a little odd though. Did AMC ever offer a Gremlin with a vinyl roof? I don't remember ever seeing one. Nice job on the vinyl top by the way. Despite the fact that I'm not a big fan of vinyl roofs, I can appreciate the work that went into doing one as nice as yours. Scott

I use Future floor wax. Easy to put on (I use cotton balls). Levels itself well. Dries fast. And I have not notice any yellowing over time. A trick thought to me by other members of my local model car club. After nearly 10 years, I've been very happy with it. Scott

Found the decals on eBay. They are offered by Firebird Designs. I've had very little interest in the past of building Tom Daniel's Beer Wagon until I saw these decals. I live on Mountain Dew (mainly diet). And have loved the stuff since it first went nationwide back in the mid-60s. So I had to do it. Other than decals, it's a straight forward, out of the box build. Paint is Testors One Coat Lacquer #1835 Lime Green. One minor modification. One of the taillight bracket was missing from kit. Even though I bought a sealed kit. This was not big deal as I looked at the one remaining. I didn't like the flimsy design of bracket. So I cut the other side off. Cut the top of the lights, and mounted them closer in. Fun kit. Yes I do. I'm tired of people telling me it's not OK to want see old kits like these reissued. That Revell or who ever can use their resources better. Just because it's something you may not favor, doesn't mean others can't want it. Now do I really expect that Revell will ever reissue the old Rewal Revival kits? I doubt it. Were the old Rewal Revival kits any good? By today's standards probably not. But I would still love to see them. People need to quit be a wet blankets. Telling us what we must or must not like or want. It is OK that I want something different than you do. Scott

Thanks for the info guys. Detail painting spacecraft can be a bit of pain. Star Trek or others. So wish more kits like Bandai's were offered. I'd love get my hands on a Bandai like TOS Enterprise and the Enterprise from the new movies with Chris Pine. Sorry Tulio, I like the new movies. A lot! But, to each his own. Scott

I keep wondering if Revell-Mongram, the owner's of Rewal's tooling, still have the molds for the Revival kits? I'd love to see them come back. Any way, very nice job on the Packard Alan. Scott
