  1. Good to know Scott. Thanks Scott
  2. I keep wondering if Revell-Mongram, the owner's of Rewal's tooling, still have the molds for the Revival kits? I'd love to see them come back. Any way, very nice job on the Packard Alan. Scott
  3. The Ban Dai Enterprise comes both pre-painted and lighted? Cool! Do they offer any other Star Trek models? And I wonder if we can get them in the US? Scott
  4. Always been interested in this kit. But, I've heard so many bad things about it. Looking at the instructions for the kit have also scared me away from this kit a bit. How bad is it really? I've been models for close to 50 years now. I've build some kits that people told were a pain, and had no troubles. Others? Trouble! Round 2/Lindberg still offers the kit. How have the dies held up over the years? I'm also interested in the old IMC/Lindberg Cougar II show car. Are the two kits worth picking up and building? Scott
  5. I loved AMT's pre-decorated kits a lot. I purchase and built several of them. I liked them all. Wish they would have done more of them. Scott
  6. Fun! Not something I would ever think of building. But, at same time I like it. Scott
  7. Nice build. I've always thought the car looks best in blue. You did a great job. Just picked up one of these in the last month or so. How tough of a build is the kit? Instructions make it look fairly easy. But, I'm always worried by things like the center console steering setup, and the bubble top. Scott
  8. Nick, I like your work. The last few days I've been looking at older postings. Every time I run across one of yours, I like what I see. Scott
  9. I love AMT's 1/43 scale kits. For their size they look great. Your repair from the one photo looks like it was successful. How did your Chevelle and Torino turn out? Scott
  10. Very nice job. I like the out of the box thinking. Scott
  11. Does anybody know how this kit compares to AMT's Gullwing kit? Scott
  12. Thank you. This type of info always helps. I'm always looking for way to improve my model building technics. And when I see a nice model like your's, it's always nice to hear what you used and how you did it. Scott
  13. Randy, tell us more about the paint. Air brush or rattle can? What brand or paint? What color red is it? It's very, very nice. Scott
  14. My parents too bought one new in 1975. Kind of a rusty red color. Tan bucket seats, no vinyl roof. Not one of my favorite cars, but I would love it if Round 2 would repop this one. Scott
  15. As Midnightprowler above said, "Cool!" I don't think I can add any more to that. Scott
  16. Nice. Scott
  17. Missed this kit the first time it was out. Looking forward to the reissue. Scott
  18. Hands down the Cord 810s and 812s are the prettiest cars ever designed. And you've done a great job capturing the essence of the car. Scott
  19. Other than the wheels, I like your '71. Scott
  20. Love the big Mustangs. I too have built a copy the Diamonds Are Forever Bond car. I used the last issue of the AMT Boss 351 kit with Keith Marks Mach 1 decals. The kit is a piece of you know what. But, it turned out fairly well. Scott
  21. Nice job. This is one of my all time favorite AMT kits. I've built a couple over the years. In fact I'm working on the latest reissue right now. I've always found this kit a pleasure to build. And I love the level of detail to the kit. Makes for a nice model of one of my all time favorite cars. Avanti.... Forward! Still. Scott
  22. I love the odd stuff like this. Very cool. Didn't know the CHP used Nashs back in the day. Scott
  23. 1965? You mean 1956. Right? Still cool. I like it. Scott
  24. It's fun to go back and look at older postings that I may have missed. I keep running into treasures like this. Wow! Very nice. I'm a big Stude fan. And growing up in Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes, I tend to like boats. Especially old wood boats like Cris Crafts, which use to to be built here Minnesota. Scott
  25. Very cool! I never expected to see these two kits done in this manner. A very cool concept all the way. I like both vehicles. I built my Daytona Transporter as shown on the box cover. I was disappointed find out how narrow the bed is on this thing is, and how little will fit in it. Never would have thought the Chrysler Turbine Car would fit. It looks snug. But it's fits. And the way you set it up, it looks right. I love it. Scott
