  1. Well, Kid....That's one of those things about this hobby that can drive you bananas......I hope you have fun with it, anyway....
  2. Hey, Man....That IS nice.....Great use of old parts, too.....Truck modeling is very addicting.....I've got all sorts of models laying around, but I don't think I'll build anything other than trucks......Every once in a while, I'll build a car, but usually it's just part of a car hauler build or something......I hope you stay with it.....I can tell you, definitely, have some talent....
  3. I was just finna say.....This is probably the first one of these I've ever seen built.....The kit is so rare, I don't think anyone dare attempt it, but you have.....And what a job you've done on it.....WOW !!!! This is awesome......
  4. That's a pretty cool looking dumper.....Very nice work on the whole thing.....The dump body is very nicely done.....Very nice subtle weathering.....Looks great...
  5. Another interesting build......Nice work.....I like the open side panels....That's a pretty cool idea....
  6. That's pretty cool.....Hilarious, but pretty darn cool...... I couldn't stop laughing at this one.....This is an Awesome build....No where to sleep, but you can surely make a head call with no problem..... Great detailing.....
  7. I hope they run this for a while, because I gotta load up.... Just ordered an Italeri Freightliner FLC for $49.99.....I could get used to this kind of pricing.....
  8. Tony, that is one cool looking truck....I really like the way they do the tanks on it......I busted up laughing about what you said about the US Cat branded truck being ugly......Because I was thinking the SAME thing......It's definitely ugly, but it looks the part.....It has the look of just plain good old brute force....And for that reason, it will sell.....That and it's a CAT.....But that Aussie version looks AWESOME.....I can't wait to see how this build goes.....I'll be watching this one for sure....
  9. I can understand HL's standpoint on the Monsters and such, but not too sure what issues would there be with their trucks.....I mean, they have AMT's Gravedigger monster trucks and all....So why not Moebius trucks....And why NO trailers....From ANYBODY......I haven't seen a single trailer since back when they carried Italeri models.....Not sure what gives, there, either..... Oh, and no problem, Carl....Just passing the info along.....Got my Lonestar, today.....Only took 3 days...... Happy, happy, happy.....
  10. This bad boy is looking very nice....Love the resurrection....That yellow really pops, like you said....Beautiful....
  11. Hey, Guys....Here's one I pulled off http://www.truckpaper.com This is a 39'er by Dorsey....
  12. They do look good....Especially for daycabs....Awesome, stuff Clayton....And I like that tanker yanker you posted, too.....Very nice spy....Good shot of it while driving, too.....Hmmm...Would photography and driving go under the same category as texting and driving?????
  13. I've built both of them 2 times over and I have to admit, I'm partial to the Prostar.....The frame IS about an 3/4 of an inch to an inch too short, but stretching it isn't too big a deal.....But a Must....There is like, one place that you can cut and all the alignment tabs and pins won't change....And that's just behind the exhaust stack mounting brackets.....One slice, and you can stretch it to your hearts content..... The Lonestar was a great build and the first one I attempted.....I used Testors white glue for all those little chicken light holes.....Made it go WAY quicker and after some treatment with an orange Sharpie, looks just as good.....Now the lip just in front of the windshield wipers needs to be trimmed clean away....I didn't know that the first time around....The hood won't shut flush, if you don't.... The instructions for the Prostar ARE better......Used in conjunction with the Revell instructions for the Lonestar, and you can figure out where everything is supposed to go.....I used the Revell instructions right along with the picture views of the Moebius......You can't go wrong with them both at your side.... I like the Prostar better than the Lonestar, Solely because it has less chrome and is a little easier to build....And the engines are the same....They just have different intake setups and such, because the Prostar doesn't have dual air cleaners..... If I had to pick something I don't like about these kits.....It would be that they engineered it to where there is no way to view the WONDERFULLY detailed interior.....I had to cut mine open.....
  14. You know what, Lucas...I was just looking at that when I was photographing it.....I forgot to make a visor....Gotta get to that....
  15. Could have sworn I commented on this one, already..... Just kidding.....I know the forum going down the other day messed quite a few of us up.....This is a remarkable build.....I really like the use of the Display Case Trailer model for this one.....I wouldn't have ever thought of that....It totally fits this truck.....I have one that I put behind a Ford F150 pickup, but it looked a little big.....This is a great idea and gives me an idea for my next build....Awesome work.....
  16. Gotta repost this one.....Quick recap.... I built this one using the snap Pete from Revell....Added a sleeper to compliment the stretch....And then the Moebius 53'er, of course.....I used the kit decals....I had to give them a go, anyway, because if I hadn't, I would have had a bunch of them setting around the garage....Surprisingly, they looked pretty good....I thought they'd look cheesy, but they, actually look pretty good....
  17. Lonestars have to be my favorite truck.....Just a beautiful piece of machinery.....Beautiful....
  18. Saw this baby, this morning....It was quite a bit on the dirty side, but my man quickly got to rectifying that situation.....
  19. That looks good....Good thinkin', Man....Good thinking....
  20. Thanks, so much, Fellas.....Here's the look I was going for.....This is a Dorsey 39'er..... Saw this on Truckpaper....It had been in my head, but I couldn't remember where I had seen such a beast..... And this is what the dumper that was destroyed used to look like.....
  21. They look good to me.....Got all kinds of stuff like that around here.....Can't be getting pulled over because you're picky.....
  22. Great idea for a rig....It looks great, so far.....I used to love to go to the hobby shop and look at all the cool HO scale stuff, but the hobby shop is now an endangered species.....Two of them went by the wayside in the past year, alone.....Great job on this truck....I'll be following this one, for sure....
  23. That is one amazing looking car....Very well done....Love that flat black....Just looks amazing....
  24. Awesome looking car, Man....Love that orange.....Great job on the engine, paint, interior.....Everything looks amazing....
  25. Oh, yeah....The coupon code is good even for preorders.....I don't think they're running free shipping on that one, though....But I've done it before....I preordered the, then new Revell 1/16 scale Pete 359.....Worked like a charm.....
