  1. Excellent work...I haven't seen this one before...Very nice color scheme...Everything flows...Just looks good...
  2. More Click to add title Outside Walmart, again....I'm lovin' it....My wife thought I had lost my mind as I grabbed my camera and just took off!!!! Had to get some shots of this one....
  3. Excellent work on both the tri-drive and the dropdeck...Awesome...I like the rig and backhoe in the background, too....Very nice work...
  4. All I can say is Wow, Man...Those die casts are so cool...I'd love to have a few of those...I love the way Europe does things...As far as hauling stuff, anyway...Or, should I say haulage... I think my favorite rigs are the Scanias...Love those Long Lines...I can't afford the transkit, but I do like the way they look...I'm working on a Scania, right now....Man, I like the 1/50 scalers, too...Lots of choices...
  5. Thanks, Guys...I appreciate the comments...I wish everyone a Happy New Year....God be with all of you....Especially you over there in Holland, Jacobus...
  6. I built this one about 5 years ago...I had a surplus of Nastro Azzurro race rigs with the Mercedez Actros pulling the 45 footer...But that was too short a model to display, so I extended it to 53'...Of course, I never heard of these guys, but they have a winning bike team, so...I have some pics of the bikes, but I'll try to show those later....
  7. Very nice work...Excellent...
  8. It's gonna look good any way you do it...Have fun...
  9. Nice work, Man...Looks good...Very clean...
  10. Good looking model...Nice work....Nice and clean...
  11. Thanks, Guys....I appreciate the kind sentiments.....And, Hey, Terry.... I see you live in Conroe...
  12. The trailer is an Italeri, but it's a combination of two to get it to 53'...They do look good after a little work...
  13. This is a nice one...It's good someone else is looking back in time and bringing some these past builds back to the front....Excellent build, Man...This is my all time favorite type of truck...The Volvo line...Awesome...And an Italeri race trailer would look right at home on the back...
  14. Excellent work...I've seen pictures of this one on the internet before, but never knew who built it....Awesome work....Very well done...I'm a fan... And a Texan to boot...
  15. Awesome work...I think I've seen this one before on another forum, but I don't remember commenting, though...This looks awesome with that backhoe on it....Very nice work...Went a ways back to dig this one up, too...
  16. Another beauty...I wasn't a member at the time this was posted, but had to comment, anyway...Beautiful model...Just beautiful...
  17. Went back a long way and found this one....Beautiful build...Just had to comment on it...I've never seen it...Looks amazing...VERY CLEAN!!! And is it just me, or do you have two different booms on that baby...Outstanding...I never would have thought of that....
  18. Like the others, I had to build one with a 53' race trailer...I really like the Volvos...I've built 5 of them...Then they stopped production...Man, I wish I had a couple more...But, anyway, this was the first Italeri race rig I extended...I was surprised at how well the build went...I painted it with Duplicolor gray of some sort, I can't remember...But this is the way it turned out...
  19. You've got some great work going on, here....Can't wait to see the finished product...
  20. Thanks, Man...This one was made from 2 Italeri Race Trailers...I spliced the middle parts together and came up with this...Wish I had some plans for you, but I mostly just eyeball stuff....Every model I build is different...More art to me than spec, so..... Here's some pics of the purple one I did in its infancy...Hope this helps...
  21. I think there may be a typo on this thread....It looks like a 53'er....I don't think they make 63'ers...
  22. Built this one about 9 months ago..It started as the old Black Magic 359 from Revell....I had built a metal flake pewter colored one like this that I sold on e'bay...As I was kind of missing it, I decided to build another one....This one took a coat of "true blue" paint from Krylon and some decals I had from other trucks..Furthermore, it has a Freightliner sleeper from Italeri... I aquired this model without the sleeper, so I had to improvise....The end result, after bashing the AMT tow body (Taking another page out Tim A's book, I narrowed it and angled the side panels) and some parts from the Italeri Bro body, was this, completely ficticious wrecker, I call Ol' Blue...
  23. Built this one a little over a year ago...I used 2 sleepers for this one and I came up with this...I need to get some more pics of it...Hopefully I'll have some tomorrow...It has the usual things...Extended frame, fenders from an old Bro tow body, extended race trailer to 53', and I painted the grill same as the truck to do something a little different...Hope you guys like it...
  24. Looks good...Nice hand painting...I guess those Humbrol paints are pretty good, huh...???
