  1. Welcome aboard...
  2. I tell you what... You've really got some great pieces, there... Man... I like all of them... And yes... If you check out all my threads, I think you'll see that they are all orange....?
  3. You know what? I think I have the solution... I'm going to combine the two into something I think will work with this project... I can install these directly into the doors, and add a bit more of the retro mod theme I'm going for to it... I'm also going to use these light bars from a Trumpeter model I got that someone stole the chrome and the wheels and tires from... Got it pretty cheap from Hobby Lobby, back when they were selling them there... Since it's already missing parts, I don't mind taking from this one....
  4. I like that look, too... But I also like the modern ones...Hmmm... Both are great suggestions... I'm torn...
  5. That looks awesome, Dude... I really like this one... The items in the bed look too cool...
  6. This looks great... Excellent work, so far...
  7. This thing is looking pretty awesome... I can't believe I had this in my hand, this morning...Hobby Lobby has some of these....It can be had for about $25 out the door...I'm sure I'll pull the trigger by the end of the week, though...
  8. Bro!!! You've got quite the collection going on, there.... I'm diggin' all of them... I love what you've done with those snappers, especially.... Turned them into some really choice rigs... I know I'm impressed... The other builds are no less appealing... Incredible...
  9. Oh, Man... That wood block jig you made just sealed the deal... I was wondering how I'd get it all put together, and that will enable me to get them done... Thank you for that amazing tip... Definitely going to use that... Those mirrors on the R190 are the ones I was going to do... I was either going to source them from an old Ford or Chevy truck kit, but I don't really like kit bashing, much... If I take one part out of the box, it instantly makes it an incomplete, used kit... I like this idea, better... Or, I might try to replicate this option... Or even this one....
  10. Man, thanks for that link... I'll be checking around for it... That works very well in replicating that gasket... VERY WELL!! Gotta see if I can get that in the US... Thanks, again Bro...
  11. Yep... You need more room to put your stuff, so you can buy more stuff... ?Then you'll need more room for the stuff you just bought... It's a never ending cycle...
  12. These things are awesome.... Very nice, indeed...
  13. I saw this thing at Wally World the other day, but couldn't pull the trigger... I don't know... I may have to; just to be able to say I have one... We'll see, though...
  14. Now, that's impressive...1/16 scale, huh? Man, I could use one of those...
  15. Is that adhesive backed flat black coating?? If so, what an awesome idea... Instant flat black... Who'd 'a' thunk it?? ? That could prove quite useful... Especially where I've painted something silver... It always bleeds into the flat black if I try to brush paint over it... I think I could really use that....
  16. Man, you boys are good at these engines... That's some pretty awesome work... Very nice...
  17. I'm with you, Bro... I ain't got that kinda bread, either... That's what I paid for my truck!!!! ?
  18. That's awesome... I could see this baby heading down I-10 to Baytown backing up miles of traffic in its wake... ?
  19. I'm all about stability, for sure... I was wondering if the boom would support its own weight... I only just got to that part, so thank you for the heads up... As far as the mirrors, I wasn't exactly diggin' 'em... I will be examining what I can do, as most AMT mirrors are kind of thick... I'm thinking some paper clips and such may be in order... I'm open for a few suggestions... Good thing is, there are a variety of mirror options for this truck per the site... I already had to retrieve the instructions from the current issue, because the old ones were just too vague... They caused me to make a couple of modifications to parts, because they weren't very clear... (I had already attached them and removing them would have caused too much damage) They're not much better, but they did make a couple of corrections that would have kept me from making those mistakes in the first place...
  20. Unbelievably, I got some paint slapped on, today... I'm amazed at how the air dried up enough for me to do so....
  21. It's so funny... That's what I was thinking... We're supposed to get some sun, today even... ?
  22. This thing looks so good... I'm loving this one...
  23. Oh, yeah... We have some of these at a lot of our VFD's... I'll have to take a couple of shots of one when they're out cleaning them up...These things are MASSIVE!!! I mean... Who comes up with all this stuff? And not only come up with it, but to actually implement it... Totally amazing... Of course, at $1,000.000 a pop, there's lots of incentive to do so...
  24. Very nice renderings... Very nice... I'd love to have a program like that to screw around with...
  25. Yeah, I'd like to see that....
