Time to revive this seriously stalled project... I, literally, had to brush the spider webs off this thing... It's taken 3 extra months, but here is the progress, made thus far.... I finally built the interior and engine... These engines always look good once installed... Also made another drive shaft.... And painted the bumper... Needs a little clean up...

Sorry to hear that, Bud... But I understand, as well... I've got a stalled project of my own, right now... I need to get back on it... -

This does look really cool... Excellent work, my friend... You're really getting after it, Man.... Awesome... -
Amen, Bro... Amen...

I'm with you, Bro... I don't agree with that, at all... Well, there's an aftermarket company out there that will be ALL OVER this issue...

I started collecting these things about 5 years ago, and I think I've lost my mind... You can get so much stuff on the cheap, it's unreal...After model prices kept soaring, it started to make perfect sense, (dollars and cents, that is), so I started collecting die casts... And with very little work, you can have almost anything you want... So many subjects covered in die cast that just aren't available unassembled... Welcome aboard!!!

I just got my 2 orange ones in the mail, today... Again, I immediately got to work on the black rims... Just not into that...

Yep... I've found these on ebay, too... Good call using that $25 coupon.... Makes it a "no brainer"... I have got to get one of these along with the blue ones....

It looks pretty darn good... I have one of these little guys... I've been trying to figure out what to do with it... I'm really diggin' yours, though.... I really like the color choices... Very well done... -
Thanks, Guys... Glad I'm not alone on that... Thought I was just getting old... Trust me... I'm looking around town for a couple...

Thanks, Bro... I'm just glad you gave me the heads up... I'm quite happy with these purchases... Haven't found a Mustang, yet, but I've got about 3 more Sam's around here to check...

All right, Buddy... I hope that helps you out... Oddly, I've never seen them in kit form... I will have to investigate...

This is looking pretty awesome... I am patiently awaiting more... Excellent work, so far...

Well... Sometimes wheels come off without much deliberation, but other times it's a WWE wrestling match... I've tried this with troublesome wheels and tires... I use a twist and pull method that seems to work pretty well... Basically, I twist one wheel while simultaneously pulling on the other....To better illustrate, the wheel I'm twisting is not the wheel I'm actually pulling... I twist one wheel with my thumb and pull on the other... Works best if the body is separated from the chassis, too...And use gloves... I use Gorilla Grip gloves that are thin enough to feel what you're working on, but protect your fingers from cuts and such.... You will still have to exert quite a bit of force on the one you're pulling, but they will come off, eventually... Believe me, you can pull a lot harder on the wheels if you have gloves on, which eliminates the need for any tools.... I am curious, though... If one is a kit, and one is assembled, why not just switch bodies...They're exactly the same, right? Or am I misunderstanding?

I heard from Zen that Sam's had gotten their 1/18 scale models back, again... Music to my ears!! So, I immediately jumped in the truck and went on to my local Sam's Club... Found all kinds of stuff, but I ended up with these C8 Corvettes... Opened one up and set about painting the wheels silver... Just can't really say I like the black rims.... I can't believe how good these models are for $14.99.....I bought 2 of them for less than $33.00 out the door.... Opening hood, doors, truck, springy suspension, and steerable wheels.... Awesome models for cheap...

Oh, cool... That's what I've been waiting on... I have to get to Sam's asap.... Thanks for the heads up...

Now, that's a find... Oh my goodness... I'd love to have one of those...

These looks pretty cool... I've only just started my collection of 1/64 scale big rigs... Not as expensive as 1/50 scale, but still can set you back a pretty penny... I'm on board with what you're doing, Bro... Orange is my favorite color, so I'm definitely partial to that orange and black one... Very nice...
