  1. Looks bada$$ to me, I can't wait to see the finished product. Way cool build.
  2. Thanks Cato, I know it 's tough to see from the angle of the pic, the bottom of the steering wheel is about 3/8" above the seat cushion.
  3. Now on to the engine compartment, lol. Let me know what you think or what I could have done better or differently, that way I can use the info for my next project. I'm trying to improve with each build. I used the PE set from Model Car Garage for the dash & door emblems, I did get the keys in the ignition, whew, what a pain that was. I used a couple of the locks from that set for the ignition and glove box door. I also used the steering wheel, pedals, shifter, seat belts and window cranks from the donated diecast. I really liked the T handle Hurst shifter better than the ball. Flocked the floorboard, BMF'd the trim and made my own white gauge faces. I'll also use the visors from the diecast as well. So I guess you could consider this a hybrid model. Thanks for checking it out. All comments are welcome. Anything to help out is greatly appreciated.[ ]
  4. Looking awesome Rich, I also love the '58 cars, keep us posted.
  5. Wow, that is way cool. The color almost looks the same as Pontiac's Verdoro Green. I love that color.
  6. Finally got the interior started, this is what I have so far. Waiting on the flocking for the floorboard and still need to finish up the BMF & adding the window cranks and pedals plus finishing up the console and Hurst shifter.
  7. That's gonna be sweet.
  8. Beautiful build. I need to get me one of these to go with my winged cars.

  12. What a fantastic build of one of the greatest muscle cars ever.
  13. Yes Mike, I'd leave it as is. I wish I'd kept my models. Like an idiot I traded them for R/C stuff years ago and didn't stay in that hobby very long. I had a lot of great ones I let slip away.
