  1. Hi John, I've had it planned for a couple months so I've been gathering the parts, I got the hood side scoops and tail panel from Harts Parts, I'm using the PE set for the '67 Coronet R/T which will be about as close I I get, Just gotta figure out the boot LOL. Keep yours going and help keep me inspired. I got the idea after getting my A12 Bee finished up so I picked up another kit.
  2. John, that is going to be sweet, I'm also in the process of converting one into an R/T to look like this. I have the paint, decals and PE, I just need to find a convertible boot or fab one. Keep us posted. I'm loving what your doing with it.
  3. That is going to be way cool, I always liked this kit. I need to get another one to build. This was the last version I've done. I'm diggin' what you done with it. This kit provides so many options.
  4. I'm excited to see where you go with it Eric.
  5. Thanks for the kind words Eric. Please keep those pics coming as the '69 IS my second fav year.
  6. Eric, it looks great my friend. The paint is from a company called Automotive Touchup. Just go to their website. They make pretty much any car color ever made. It's the '66 GM Maderia Maroon lacquer, then topcoated with automotive lacquer clearcoat, wet sanded and polished, that's it. A friend of mine gave me some Verdoro Green from them for my '69 Grand Prix I'm building to match the 1:1 I had. It's dead nuts on. Great paint for sure. Anything else I can help with give me a scream. I'll sure help if i can. Blessings, Geno.
  7. Right Joe, I just wanted to post my pic to give Eric some encouragement and show him you can make the challenging ones look nice with a little patience and finesse LOL. I'm not one to turn away from a challenge. It's my goal to come out on the winning end....one way or the other. Eric, please keep us updated. Kick butt.
  8. To ALL of you. The models you guys build and post leave me in awe every day. I love looking at them and getting ideas. What you guys do helps keep the creative juices flowing and the motivation in me to keep plugging away. The willingness to help out the fellow builders is amazing as well, thank you all who have helped me and hopefully I can do the same sometime. Thanks again and blessings to you all, You all rock, Geno.
  9. Fantastic, love the Andy Griffith Show, you done it justice.

Now that's a killer fish, WOW!!!!!
  11. Me too, lol. My Gramps was a 'shiner, rest his soul.
  12. That is one sweet Charger.
  13. Eric, I've got the Monogram '66 flip nose I've converted to stock. It's one of those tough ones as well. A lot of patience was required but it's coming along nicely. Don't give up, it'll be worth it when it's done. Why this kit when Lindburg makes a nice one in 1/25? I've collected 1/24 diecast muscle cars for years, mostly DM, FM, GMP and a smattering of Crown Premiums, Unique Replicas & Johnny Lightning. Maisto makes one advertised as 1/24 but in reality it is 1/25. I wanted a '66 Chevelle in 1/24 to go with my 1/24 diecast muscle cars. '66 is my favorite year Chevelle.
  14. Wow, what a Super Bird.
  15. A beauty for sure, great color choice.
  16. That's gonna be sweet.
  17. Great start Trent.
  18. Beautiful, i love that color.
  19. Now that's funny right there, I don't care who you are .
  20. I've already switched back to building models, mostly 1/24 kits to add to my diecast collection as I mostly collect 50's through the muscle cars. I have more than enough kits to keep me busy probably into my retirement years lol.
  21. Awesome.
  22. LOL, I'd do the same, you done well.
  23. Steve, are you messing with us? That's a real car right? Absolutely amazing.
  24. Dave it looks fantastic, Welcome back to building.
