Richard, it's GM Madeira Maroon. It does look darker in one set of pics as I took them indoors compared to the outdoor pics. Thanks Marty, It is a challenging kit for sure LOL.
George, thank you. that means a lot, especially coming from you. I wanted a true 1/24 Chevelle to go along with my diecast models and this is the only one. It's been a challenge but a fun one LOL. Again, thanks my friend.
Slow and steady progression on the Chevelle. Got the PE scripts painted and applied and the rear panel done. I need to have the front end assembly rechromed as it's thin and wearing through in spots.
Awesome, I've got one started along with 3 others I'm working on. This is way cool. Great job Matt. I can't believe no one has ever made a kit of this car with it's cult status and all the other movie cars that have been brought out in kit form.
Thank you all for your input, I really do appreciate it. Now to try them out lol. Love the models guys, you all keep me inspired. Blessings to you all. Geno.
Hi guys, how do you guys do your panel lines? They always look so nice and neat. I tried on an old body with paint reduced down with alcohol to 4:1 that a friend gave me but it seemed to want to etch the paint on areas that didn't get down in the gap. What's you magic solutions? Thanks, Geno.
I understand Jim, any pointers will help me as I'm wanting to do a PE grille on my '66 Chevelle. Your build is going to be phenomenal regardless. Keep up the grand work. Geno.
That looks exceptional Chris, I have the GTX up for a build. I usually use parts from my parts stash to detail the underhoods of my models or I scratch build it lol.
