  1. Hi Niko didnt really know what class to put it under as its still a work in progress. Todd it is the lapd comaro just using this motor for mock up as I dont want to supercharge. Cheers and thanks for all the feedback.
  2. Hi Josh the kit I am using for it is the LAPD pro stock comaro kit. Another kit that fits very nicely is any of the pro sportsman kits as I have another dart on the go using the christine kit. Cheers
  3. Hi John have already modified one side to suit the mopar and if you look closely I have cut the two inner tubes on this side at the header plate but yet to heat and join up. Probably should have taken a photo of the modified shot. James not that I have anything against pink but I have a few colour combos in my head at the moment just undecided possibly black with the white decals and a tan interior tub or maybe a orange with the black decals. Cheers
  4. Excellent job Stan hopefully if my builds come out half as good as yours I will be a happy man. Long live the pro streeters
  5. Really enjoying and will be watching this build as I have one also on the go. To get mine lower I removed the fenders from the tray with my knife and then mounted them higher up on the bed. I then extended the lower portions of the fenders to meet up where they originally stopped. This way I was able to remove more of the bed to get it nice and low.
  6. Thanks for the feedback and yes i have a few on the go John but when inspiration is lost on one I seem to be able to find it in another. Also you know what they say about idle hands. Cheers
  7. Hi thanks for the positive feedback and dont worry dodgefever rocker only held on with blu tac wanted to see how the manifold and heads aligned up. Cheers
  8. Thanks for the feedback and tooltas wouldnt use a chev in a mopar just needed to know how far the lenco sits back to see if I could squeeze in what I have planned. Will free the lenco of the chev and will install something a bit tougher. Cheers
  9. Excellent build so far cant wait to see the end result.
  10. Cool will be watching this one, love the mopar builds.
  11. Cool will be watching this one and the bonus its a mopar.
  12. Hi just a small update. Have been working on mocking up the engine tonight and modifying one side of the headers yet to do this side. Its a bit of a tight squeeze once everything is installed but think it will all fit. Been thinking of opening up the boot (trunk) just depends on how far I want to go with it. Cheers and thanks for looking Steve
  13. Hi been working on this dart for a while and think its time to try and finish it. Bought as a glue bomb, stripped it and soaked it in oven cleaner which seems to work quite well. Decided to turn it into a pro stock using and parts binned most of the original parts. Opened up the boot or trunk depending what side of the world you live in and cut off the trim section to join the boot lid. Painted up the bonnet just to give me an idea of where this build is going. Next on the list is to finish modifying the roll cage to suit the body style. Cheers and thanks for looking Steve
  14. Hi bought this kit years ago that some one started and butchered the original chassis so there was no other choice but to go the pro street route, I am using the revell hot rod corvette pro street chassis with some modifications. Unsure whether I am going to use the solid rear end or to build my own, probably my own, also have taken heaps of plastic out from the engine bay. Cheers and thanks for looking Steve
  15. Hi been working on this gtx for a while now. Got it in paint and have completed most of the bare metal foil then will clear coat the body. Rest of it basically in mock up stage using the dodge supperbee pro street chassis. Have gone for a injected 440 big block and am working on headers and exhaust at the moment. Cheers and thanks for looking Steve
  16. Thanks everyone for the positive feedback. Will be posting some other pro street mopars that I have on the go at the moment and hopefully have an update on the duster this weekend. Cheers Steve
  17. Hi just getting back into it with my duster project. At the moment just in mock up but slowly getting there. Used the matt and debbie hayes thunderbird chassis with a few modifications otherwise a really good fit. Tossed the small block ford in the parts bin and installed a 340 small block mopar and torqueflite in its place. Will still use the induction system from the small block ford with a few mods to make it all fit. Shaved the door handles for a cleaner look but will refinish the bodywork in original colour and supplied decals for that original exterior look. Modified the original dash to fit within the roll cage tubing to keep the original look going. Thanks for looking steve
  18. Started this about 10 years ago and never got around to finishing it so pulled it out for something simple to do without having to modify anything. Finished the bmf of on the body and clear coated, rubbed back and polished it up. Still minor things like turn signal indicators and windshield wipers to do but otherwise body is finished. Motor was done way back when the kit was started with plug wires but not much more just want to keep it a basic and quick finish off. In the process of bmf the interior and then reassembly and should be done. May be the first finished one i have done in about 15 years. Cheers and thanks for looking.
  19. Hi Steve did use the original chassis setup but removed everything from the front end except for the k member then used the leaf springs from the amt willys kit and had to lenghten the front axle to fit the body. This way i was able to delete the inner guards which gives me a better choice of what headers i want to use, Also mini tubbed the rear end and installed a 9 inch from the parts box and moved the rear springs inboard for it to all fit. Hope to have a few pics up soon. Cheers
  20. Hi just thought i would post a few pics of 41 willys that i have on the build using the kits chassis and engine. Just needed a little trimming now fits like a glove. Also used the chassis under a 1950 thames that i built.
  21. Been working on this gasser for a couple of weeks now trying the right rim, tyre combo and the decal placement and think i have found the right combo. Also swapped the 426 hemi for a 392 hemi for something a little bit different. Painted in mulberry from dupli-color rattle can. Still have a way to go yet so will post updates as i go along. Cheers and thanks for looking.
  22. Just adding another to the collection. Started with a 33 willys sedan as a glue bomb bought on ebay along with another 11 models that are near the same condition. Unfortunately didnt take any pics in my haste in stripping it down. Was missing the front springs, rear springs were broken, induction was missing and painted in what looked like house paint applied with a brush. After stripping made a new set of front springs and modified a quick change rear end and springs to replace the nine inch and broken springs, also added some wheelie bars from the parts box. Got the body up to scratch, filled in the roof, a couple coats of primer and then a couple of coats of satellite brown was sprayed. Rubbed back with 1500 then 2000 grit and added some parts box decals. Have used the base of the 427 motor and added my own hilborn fuel injection and parts box headers. Still heaps to do will update as i go along. Cheers and thanks for looking.

  24. just a few pics of what i have been working on over the past week. Started with a 70 dodge superbee from the amt range and have used the rims and tyres from the testors smoothster kit. Have mocked up the v10 to see how it all fits and thats as far as i have got. Cheers and thanks for looking.
