  1. STS are the best in my book. Terry has been doing decals for me a few years now. i got to meet him and his wife Patrice yesterday at the Space City Shootout Contest in Stafford Tx in the Houston area.. they have always been great to deal with over the phone and fun just to BS with in person. its always great to put a face to who you been talking to over the years... they are down to earth people just like the rest of us.😁
  2. great job, looks way better than the factory rims.
  3. thank you..yes they will be a modified AMT trailer. i have 3D printed Tigercat Skidder kit i'm about to start building. i know ill have to add to the length but i have a old one i bought for parts some years ago. i also have a narrow tongue i will add to it and folding ramps. ( picture of skidder is not mine) mine will have duel tire set up.
  4. MACK SUPERLINER HEAVY HAUL.. finished after 5 months. i started this build with a 1/24 scale ItaLeri kit. most know it carries the same frame and parts as the Freightliner does, so i had to do some modifications like shorting the drivers side tank and changing out the steps with Auslowe's photo etch steps. the big challenge was fitting the Mack MP8 in the frame. no room at all. Dremel Tool time.. also another challenge was adding the external breathers. most Superliners don't have them. but with flexible drink straws anything is possible. Day Cab panel is a Auslowe product but was purchased from ST Supplt Co. frame was extended 3 inches to add another axle. winch, tower, cat walk, front and rear tires + rims are 3D printed. mini code 3 light bars i got a guy on ebay to make.. Chrome Stacks were made by Ryan Mlynek. snatch blocks and tool box are from 3D Concepts. tail lights are rhinestones. fenders + bug shield are from Auslowe. Swan Hood Ornament is from Model Truck Builder. winch line was made from 200lb braid fishing line.. name door decals were made by STS Decals. other Decals are from parts box. you will notice their are no air lines for a trailer. i left them off but i did add the hook ups by the winch and will add once i build trailer. i know its not perfect but who said it has to be..
  5. you got the link? i would like to ck it out.🙂
  6. can you show us how you built it..i may want to build one.
  7. its all good . ill give you a pass on standing in the corner..
  8. my name is David not Davis Peter, and yes you told me you print your own Decals..
  9. Peter why not just do this, if you want to know all about Terry and his business send him a email at customizedbydesign@yahoo.com or call him at 859-384-3289 he will answer all your QUESTIONS you have..
  10. i understand what you are saying. 90% of my decals are off the internet that i send to him to re size. its not a big process for someone in the business, so for Perry's 1/43 decals scale them in 1/20 scale that's not a big process..Terry always tells you up front what it will cost with your choice of shipping..
  11. Terry Borchers at STS Scale Model Decals is not a man that will drain your bank account. i have had many Decals designed by him and he has always treated me right.

  15. just telling you what i was told..why dont you leave a body in over night and see if the guy was telling a lie..🙃
  16. you keep on soaking your 3D parts in isopropyl alcohol and leave them in their to long it will melt them. i use it also to clean 3D parts but i will not leave them in over 3 minuets at a time. i was talking to a guy one day about soaking in alcohol and he left a body in over night next morning all he had was a melted body..lol..one thing i have found out if you spray on a new paint job and you mess it up ( enamel or acrylic paint) you can soak it in 91% isopropyl alcohol starting out at 5 minuets as soon as the you finish spraying the paint. then with a old tooth brush under warn to hot water start removing what paint you can. shake the water off and keep re peteing till all the paint is removed. wash well..within 30 minuets or less you will be ready to prime again ( could take longer on some models)..
  17. i been using it for many years with no problem. its like a woman if she has been good to you why change.😀
