Been tinkering with this. Being mostly scratch built while using some kit parts.... springs and a Les are from the Lindberg Dodge L700 trailer kit and re worked into a pivotable suspension. Draw bar is Evergreen and is functional. right now I'm building the bunks that go on top of the trailer and rig. This will have an Autocar rig in front of it when I'm done with both!! brake lines are plumbed and need to run lines to the front!!! Second pic with rear slid forward Trailer bunk mount... Bunk mount going onto truck trailer as it sits now.... tell me whatcha think on it!!!!!!

Kind of what I was thinking from looking at the pics of trailers online. I have the rear suspension/bunk to where it moves but will fix the drawbar then. I have it to where it moves out now so..... Thank you Anthony!!!! I'll get some pics of what I'm doing posted up tomorrow or tomorrow night!!!!!

Ok, thank you Håkan!!! I ask as I'm building one from Evergreen and brass and have the draw bar so it extends... Working on building the rear bunk right now along with the front truck mounted bunk... I have to post pics on it yet..... All the real ones I've seen pics on they are all in the back position which got me thinking that maybe they don't extend out!! LOL

On the draw bar where it couples to the tractor, is that draw bar adjustable or is it fixed in place?? Wondering if the trailer is at a fixed position or is it extendable in length???

Waiting on parts, chassis is waiting til I get the wheels and body is in primer until I get a piano hinge for the doors.... I have to order the hinge one of these days.... You know the story there Mark!!!!!!!

Engine is in paint and putting it together at work tonight... Get bored on break so I build at my bench while on break!!!!!

I use silver Sharpie Markers for trim that I do. Not sure what else. I also use Sharpie Markers in different colors for touch up and coloring various parts too!!!
