  1. Oh man, good eyes, I didn't even realize it. Can't believe I did that Lol. Since there's not much in the way, I might have to see if I can get them swapped around....
  2. Thanks a lot for your comments guys, glad you like it. Thanks Snake. Actually it wasn't too bad removing the trim. The leading edges of the front fenders were a little tricky though, with the tight spaces within those three body lines. I agree, though I still try to watch some now and then.
  3. I finished this one up about two weeks ago, but just got around to taking some pics of it today. These really are fun little kits to build. Even though they're so basic and simple, you can still build them into a pretty cool looking unit. That being said, I did change up a few things to spruce it up a bit. I swapped in some Cragars from the Revell '67 Charger, tires and slicks came from the parts box. The valve covers are from the AMT '66 Galaxie, and I added some collectors to the headers that also came from the parts box. Bodywise, I did file down the screw posts on the radiator support, removed the body side trim, and removed the wing windows as I had seen pics of the real car both with and without them. Paint is Testors One Coat Star Spangled Blue lacquer. I'm really happy with how this little bugger turned out. On to the pics....
  4. Oh man I like this one. Moving the front axle really helps the apperance of this kit. Well done!
  5. I love those first gen Monte's too. Good looking build, Kevin.
  6. That is a great looking Buick, well done!
  7. The Revell 99 Mustang Cobra and Saleen Speedster kits had those as well, I don't recall if they had different sizes for fronts and rears though. I want to say the Monogram 55 F100 (with the 5 spoke billet-type wheels) had them too?
  8. Nice variety of subjects, and all are well done!
  9. I like what you did on this Boss, Ronny. I'll be interested in seeing what you do with the Cuda when you build it. I agree, very good tips here, Walter. While I didn't experience clearance issues with the windshield wipers, I did to some extent all the others. A chunk of it was my doing, as I had glued the rear valence on prior to painting making chassis installation (and exhaust tips) even more of a battle. Thanks again for all the comments guys.
  10. That is really sharp, well done!
  11. Thanks again everyone. May you all have a Merry Christmas and a great new year. Oh yeah, and some new polystyrene under the tree!
  12. Beautiful builds!
  13. Those are just outstanding, Steve. I've always loved your builds, can't wait to see whats in store for next year.
  14. Thanks much guys!
  15. Another great build, Roger.....just as you always do. That paint looks fabulous.
  16. With the year winding down rapidly and knowing I won't get another one finished, here are my builds of 2016. I didn't crank out as many as I did last year, but am glad I got a few done. 1970 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Donnie Allison 1971 Mercury Cyclone Paul Richardson 1968 Dodge Dart Hemi SS/BA 1969 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda
  17. I agree! You had a great year, I like 'em all.
  18. You may have only finished two, but man they are both knockouts! Great work, Bill.
  19. Nice save Snake, you got that little Maverick looking pretty darn good again.
  20. All three of them are great, congrats! I remember that Super Bee and still drool over it........
  21. Sorry about the decals, but it still looks good. He was a favorite driver of mine, and always thought this car was one of the best looking ones on the track.
  22. Outstanding craftsmanship! Great attention to all the details in making it correct. I could spend the rest of my life building just one model and not have it turn out as great as this. Thanks for sharing this beauty!
  23. Wow, that is fantastic! Great photography, too.
  24. It may only be three, but they are of great quality. And yes I agree with the guys, that 6 in the A is too cool.
  25. You had a great '16 Bill. All are sharp builds, but man I still gravitate to that 60 LIncoln. Who makes/made those Dodge Boys decals? That's one I wouldn't mind adding to my collection if they're still available.
