  1. X2.....Jonathan, that is awesome! I'd say your building skills are pretty darn good, I'd love to see more of your builds!
  2. Thanks Ronny. No, the wheels don't roll (which is actually fine with me), it's just the way the wheel attaches to the pin retainer on the brakes. The brakes get pinned into the axle/spindles then the wheels need to be glued on. It was a bit of a sloppy fit (at least on mine it was). If there was a pin molded directly to the backside of the wheel that would pass through the brake and into the axle (spindles on the front) I would have liked it much better. It's just my personel preference I guess, it does work ok as is. It is a great kit overall though, I think you'll enjoy building it.
  3. Very sharp build of a not so often seen car. A very meaningful and special build indeed.
  4. Great work on all of them, Ludwig! I love that Torino.
  5. Good looking bulid. Kinda makes me want to dig out my partially built one, strip the paint, and give it a go again.
  6. Congrats on another year of stunning builds! Can't wait to see what you have in store for the coming one!
  7. Beautiful builds, David!
  8. Looks like you had a good year, nice builds. I really like that 65 Chevy.
  9. Same here. I haven't used Photobucket in nearly a month, and don't miss it honestly. I've started using Fotki since then and love it so far.
  10. Those steelies & caps look great on it. Nice build....actually all your Fairlanes and Torinos that you shared are nice.
  11. Very cool build, Randy. What a sleeper!
  12. Thanks guys!
  13. This has to be the best build I've seen of this kit. And that color, oh man does that look good on it! Great job on persevering through till the end.
  14. Good looking Charger, you can never go wrong with Cragars. I haven't decided what my next build will be yet, but do have this kit on the short list and seeing your's gives me some ideas.
  15. Thank you for those comments guys. Since joining this site, all of the talent on this board has really inspired me to contine trying to improve my skills & builds. Thank you everyone!
  16. Thanks a lot guys. Overall this kit went together really well, I ran into only a couple minor issues (as noted above). I'd recommend it to anyone, I might try to snap up another one or two of them. I agree about washing the panel lines. It's something I used to always overlook but now it's something I have to do to every build. I've been starting to add that detail to some of my older builds now, too. I really do need to pick up some Tamiya gloss sometime. For this one I did spray some Testors clear lacquer over it and polished it. While I didn't get a great shine, I'm ok with it.
  17. Other than maybe adding a wash to the wheels to darken them up a bit, I'm calling this one done. This kit went together pretty well, though I'm not real crazy the way the wheels attach to the hubs/brakes, and I had a hard time with mounting the fog lights. Paint is Tamiya TS-19 Metallic Blue, I didn't get a super shine out of it so I guess I'll call this a daily driver Lol. I had a bit of a hard time getting some good shots in the sun, so I took some with the sun blocked out for a bit of a filter effect, too. Oh, and I did paint the radiator cap after the shoot! Lol
  18. Hope you had a great birthday, Carl! May you have many more healthy and happy ones to come good friend!
  19. Beautiful work, Gene! My all-time favorite Mopar.
  20. Randy that Bonnie is beautiful! I've missed seeing your great builds and am glad you've gotten out of your building slump, we all get those from time to time (I'm in a mini-one right now).
  21. I have to agree with everyone, that color really is a perfect fit. Great looking model.
  22. The more I look at it the more I like it, and like others have said, those colors do suit the car well. Nice work, Bill. Thanks for sharing your process on the headlights, they look good and I may have to try that sometime.
  23. Another stunner for your collection, Steve. That Coronet truly is a work of art.
  24. That does look killer, I love everything about it. Great work Steve.
  25. Oh those are nice, like the colors on both of them. I've been meaning to convert/build one of these for quite a few years now, still haven't done it.......
