  1. That's a clean, and great, box stock build. That silver looks good on it.
  2. Ahhh..now I understand the issue. Not sure why it did that. I'll have to remember to watch for that when I build my other one. If you enjoyed how the Chargers went together, you'll like building the Daytona as well....it's a good kit.
  3. Wow you are off to a great start. Beautiful paint.
  4. Sorry to hear of all the problems you encountered, Kevin. Still, you turned it into a pretty darn good looking build. Man, those Torque Thrust's and Polyglas tires really set it off, excellent choice! As for the front end problem you encountered, was it leaving a gap in between the fenders and inner fenders? I've built two of these and experienced this problem on both. The only way I could cure it was by adding in some evergreen to fill the gap. Oh, and off topic here, but when I had commented on your sweet '68 Chargers I remember you saying you'd be looking forward to whenever I'd build mine. Well, I've been plugging away at one and finally getting close to finishing it, soon I hope Lol.
  5. Absolutely love the show. Been a great season so far, but things happen so fast now I kinda miss the slower build-up of events that took place in earlier seasons. And I agree that even though it is so wrong, since they are Aunt and nephew, Jon and Daenerys need to share some "quality" time together. Won't have to wait much longer for that to happen..... But hey, at least they don't know they're related yet Lol.
  6. I like your take on this kit, Mike. Nice work! Oh, and thank you for fixing the the decal, that upward slant drives me nuts! That little fix makes such a huge improvement in my eyes.
  7. I agree with all the comments on the color, it's very fitting for this car. Nice, clean work.
  8. That is some outstanding work, one beautiful Mopar!
  9. I guess I'd have to go with the Monogram/Revell '70 Mustang. I've built 5 over the years and think there's at least two more currently in the stash. I'd throw in Revell's 68-69 Dart kits as well.
  10. I sure does look good as I'm really liking it. Love the stance and that paint is a thing of beauty. Well done! I have fond memories of this kit as well, as a kid I built one painted in Sapphire Blue with black fenders/boards. I actually still have most of it, boxed up and hidden somewhere in the stash.
  11. It's always great to see a Cyclone, especially one done as nicely as this. You really hit a home run here, fantastic work. Kinda off topic here, but my brother used to own a Calypso Coral '69 Cyclone CJ428 just like the one in the last pic. His didn't have the hood scoop though as it wasn't equipped with ram air. But, it did have a 4 spd with 3.91 gears....man that car would haul.........
  12. Just outstanding! An incredibly well done and beautiful build.
  13. Excellent choice in using steelies & caps! I love that look. I feel for ya on the paint issue, as I've experienced the same thing on my current project. Decided to just make it look the best I can and go with it.
  14. That looks great. You don't see these built very often. My first car was a '90 Probe, but just a GL and not the GT. Even with it's paltry 110hp, it had ok acceleration due to its light weight (around 2,700lbs I believe) but was by no means fast. It was a fun car to throw into the corners, as it handled them pretty well. I bought it with 108,000 miles and put on about 50,000 more mostly trouble free miles until it started having electrical gremlins. I sold it to a neighbor and he got the electric problems worked out, drove it about a year, then the motor went ka-pow.
  15. She's a beauty, Randy. It's always a treat seeing your work.
  16. I have to agree. Very nice!
  17. That's a beauty, SFD. I'd love to have that one on my shelf.
  18. Very nice! I need to pick one of these up soon.
  19. Beautiful paint and foil work, on a beautiful car. Well done and congrats. Yeah those doors are a pain, I spent a lot of time fiddling with them for a better fit only to achive a marginally better improvement over oob. If I build another one, I'll glue them shut like you did.
  20. Real sharp Nova, Jeremy. That color suits it well. Nice work.
  21. No, not him too! Loved him as Curly Bill in Tombstone.
  22. I'm so saddened by this. It was the first thing I heard when I woke up this morning and have been bummed all day. He was such a tremendous talent and had an incredible voice, one of the best. I've always been a huge fan of Soundgarden, and Audioslave as well. He'll be deeply missed....RIP Chris.
