  1. That is beautiful!
  2. I don't think I've posted any of mine yet, so here are a few of my best attempts.
  3. That looks super!
  4. Very nice, Randy. It's not easy making those kits look good, but you sure did a great job of it. One of the best I've seen.
  5. Thanks Paul. It's the Revellogram kit. However, this issue does not include the Trans Am scripts on the decal sheet. For those, you would need to pick up the first issue of the kit by Monogram (from 1991 I believe, and where I got mine) or I think Keith Marks has them as well.
  6. Casey's method is exactly what I did when I added chrome trim for the deluxe two-tone on my '79 Bronco. I ended up doing it in three pieces. One long strip along the bottom, one for the vertical in the rear, and a short, wider strip for the small amount behind the rear marker light. Luckily there was no black on that trim on the 1:1 so it made it much easier. I'm not sure the best way to tackle that aspect of the trim you'll be replicating, that's a tough one and wish I could help some. When you're comfortable with adding the trim to the body, just make sure to take it nice and slow with patience, and success with follow.
  7. Very nice. Great decal work, I've heard the ones for the roof can be a bit problematic.
  8. Thanks guys. I'll be the first to admit that none of them are perfect though, Lol. I draw inspiration from all you great fellow modelers out there, and I have to thank you all for that! For my photographs, I use a Nikon P510. Nothing really fancy, but it gets the job done rather well.
  9. Man, I'd love to have a year like you did, quality AND quantity. Very nice builds!
  10. That is a great crop of builds, Bernard. I really like the Little Feather fueler. I've been wanting to broaden my range of themes as well, but really haven't accomplished it yet lol, maybe someday.
  11. Wow that is really nice. I don't mind the big wheels, they do fill up those wheelwells nicely. I'm not always a fan of this look but this one looks good IMO. Beautiful paint and detailing all around.
  12. A pretty average year amount-wise for me. Every year my goal is to finish more than I buy, but it didn't happen this time haha.
  13. Thanks a lot guys.
  14. They are all really clean, well done builds. That 5 window is my favorite.
  15. Very well done, Kevin. That really is a timeless color combo you chose. Going with the Torque Thrusts was a great move too, they always look great on anything from that era. I'm not a big Corvette guy either, but do have a few lurking in the stash.
  16. While it's the only one you finished, my goodness it is fabulous! Just like you always do, Steve. Hope you can get a few more finished in the coming year.
  17. That looks great, Wayne!
  18. This was a pretty straight forward build, mostly out of the box. I did sub in a parts box front axle, as the one in the kit allowed the front end to be way to low to the point the tires wouldn't fit and the chin spoiler was scraping the ground. Otherwise, just some basic wiring, opened up the header ends, and went with the kit decals, even though the hood stripes are wrong. The side decals did break in a couple small spots that I had to touch up, so I'd suggest maybe some decal film or clearcoating them before use. Overall it was a pretty decent build and looks good when finished. Thanks for taking a look and any questions/comments. In a few of the pics, the red got a little washed out from the sun. Oh yeah, yes, I was too lazy to paint the body prop Lol.
  19. Now that is really sharp! Nice save.
  20. The only two I've built so far, a '68 R/T and a '69 Daytona.
  21. I can only see one picture, but man that looks sweet! I'm guessing those are Pegasus wheels/tires? The 70-71 Torino is one of the best looking cars of the era in my opinion.
  22. Wow that's nice. Great detailing and you nailed the ride height.
  23. Beautiful Bee, Randy! That's a stellar trio you have there.
  24. Gorgeous! Kevin, I think I have to agree that this is one of your best builds. The paint is drool worthy, and with the nice clean detailing, makes this a standout. Nice touch raising the back a bit, I did the same thing to my GSX. Just like with your '68 Chargers, seeing this makes me want to dig out the other one still lurking in the stash. Thanks again Kevin Lol!
