  1. Very nice, the paint looks amazing!
  2. Congrats on the 2nd place finish Mike, that's a sharp looking pony you've built.
  3. Love those colors, and a great looking build.
  4. Nice work and sharp color, it's refreshing seeing a non-red Ferrari.
  5. Very, very nice! Excellent photos as well.
  6. Now that brings back some memories, I remember building a couple of these when I was a kid. You've done a nice job on this one.
  7. Beautifully done!
  8. Wow.....Lol! My birthday is January 13th, and yes the day I was born was a Friday. It must not be too bad of a day, I'm still alive and kickin'.
  9. That looks great Al, nice work! I have to get a couple of these.....
  10. Nice work Andre, that black sure looks good on it. The kit I'm building now I am planning on painting black, hope it comes out as nice as yours did. I had issues with the hood on mine, too. The air cleaner seemed to be the culprit, so I trimmed down the underside of the hood around where the air cleaner was making contact.
  11. This looks great, very nice work!
  12. Thanks Andre. Those are the kit stripes, it also included a set of brown ones.
  13. Outstanding build Tom!
  14. Thank you Mike and Steve.
  15. Taillights look pretty good to me, Andre. The ones in the Camaro I just finished were clear, I painted the backs of the lenses red & yellow (left the back-up lights clear) as well as painting the bezels silver. She's looking sharp and tough in black, keep up the great work!
  16. Thanks so much guys.
  17. Nice build. I like the triple green treatment.
  18. Very nice!
  19. I'd say you won the fight too, that looks fabulous!
  20. Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate it. It's been cool to read the stories about your real world experiences with these Camaros, thanks for sharing them. When I was a kid one of the neighbors had one in blue too, I loved it. I'd have to say it was one of the first cars that started to turn me into a gearhead.
  21. I agree with what Foxer and Snake said. The Model Master/Testors lacquers are not nearly as hot as other brands. I've shot them over enamels many times with no issues. It's always safer to test it out on a spoon first though.
  22. Slick build. I might have to pick up a set of those decals if they still have them.
  23. Pure awesomeness! What an outstanding build Tyrone!
  24. Well done, and that paint is gorgeous!
  25. I finished this one up last week, my second completion of 2015. It's the Revell Streetburner release, a pretty basic kit but builds into a good looking shelfer. It's not my best build, but I'm happy with it. I'm not a big fan of t-tops on these Camaro's (but I do like them on the Firebirds, don't ask me why I don't know lol ) so I broke out the spot putty and got to work filling in the seams. Colors are Model Master Nassau Blue Met. with Duplicolor Light Blue Metallic for the interior. Tire lettering is Fireball Modelworks decals, and I used some aluminum tubing for the exhaust tips. I just realized I forgot to get some silver paint onto the lugnuts, so I'll address that tonight. Thanks for looking and any comments good or bad.
