  1. Super sharp, and yes that looks like a nightmare to decal, but you pulled it off with great results.
  2. Sweet Fairlane! I like everything about it. Great idea of using the GT500 running gear.
  3. Excellent build Randy!
  4. Outstanding build, as always, Sven.
  5. Very nice paint, Fred. This is going to look amazing with a white interior and stripes.
  6. Beautiful work on the Charger, a great build.
  7. Wow that's a nice Dart! Great finish and detail.
  8. I've always loved Pantera's cover of Planet Caravan, even more so than the original by Black Sabbath. It's such a departure from their non-stop brutally aggressive songs. I tend to get goosebumps listening to it. Rest in peace Dime....

    Nas-Rat,

That's one tough lookin' Chevelle, awesome work. I love that stance.
  10. Nice work Scott, I like it.
  11. You've seen the Tasca Boss '9 in person? Shut-up! LOL. Just kidding. That is awesome, and I am way jealous! I, too, would love to build the car someday but have yet to really dig around gathering info and details on it.
  12. Thanks guys. Austin, the tires are from Fireball Modelworks and the rims were parts box finds from the AMT (1992?) F150 shortbox kit.
  13. That is sharp! Amazing paintwork, and I gotta ask, what color is it?
  14. Very impressive work, Fred. I enjoyed following your WIP, and still love how you hinged the doors so realistically. Congrats! Oh yeah, I dig that Torino just as much as the Mach....
  15. Nice work Mike!
  16. Your persistence and patience has paid off, as that is one terrific looking model! Glad you were able to finish it, congrats!
  17. Super sharp build, Gary. You've done this one justice, not a bad kit considering it's age. I also built one in Prairie Bronze with a tan interior, as an R-code 427.
  18. Very cool and nice work. I had never seen that show truck before.
  19. I have yet to put a lot of thought into which route would be best, but think I'd modify the Bronco body. Take the front clip off the F250 and graft it onto the Bronco, as well as cab from the lower chrome trim down. The same would have to be done for the back half of the Bronco using the truck's box (obviously not all of the bed length would be needed). The taillights and tailgate would need to be changed, too. I know the dash and door panels would have to be used from the truck, but believe the rest of the interior would be ok as is. It would be a lot of work, but it could be done. One could also shorten the bed on the F250 the appropriate amount, and mold it into the cab. The greenhouse from the Bronco could be swapped on (or just the rear section of it). Don't know how well that would go, though. A lot to ponder.......
  20. Nice conversion Kyle, I dig it. Always cool to be able to build replica of something you own/owned. Fellow Ford guy here too. Some day I'd like to kitbash these same kits to build a 87-91 Bronco.
  21. Thanks for all the good words guys. I really like this color blue as well, even though the pics make the blue to be a little brighter than it actually is. I read your sig, nice group of rigs you have there! Yeah the Explorers have always been overlooked. I had a '95 Sport that I put through quite a bit of bushwhacking, liked it till the 4.0 went south. Thanks Chuck. I remember that Explorer you SAS'd, very cool and inspiring. I want to get another of these kits and do the same, as well as dropping in a 5.0 or 4.6.
  22. Finished this up for a community build on another forum. I built it as a daily driver/weekend warrior. AMT kit, painted Dupli-Color Medium Blue Metallic. The BFG's are from Fireball Modelworks and the wheels came from (I believe) an AMT '90-somethin' F150. Other than that, and the suspension lift, the rest of the build was kept stock. After taking the pics, I see I've got a few touch-ups to do yet that I had overlooked. A better shot of the interior while it was still a wip. I didn't bother smoothing the seams on the seatbacks as they cannot be seen through the tinted windows.
  23. Simply outstanding Sean, congrats!
