  1. Thanks you guys. And I agree that the seat is on the small side in these kits.
  2. Wow, that's nice!
  3. Ok guys, here's my build of the Model King Tempest. Just finished it last night. The only additions/mods I made were plug wires, opened up the collectors on the headers, and removed the license plate frames from the bumpers. Otherwise, it's OOB. Paint is Tamiya's Light Gunmetal. It was a fun build and didn't worry about putting too much detail into it. Thanks for looking.
  4. I like it, very cool idea and nice work. I remember watching that race as well.....
  5. That's an outstanding build. I really like the extra mile you went in detailing under the hood, looks sharp. That color suites the car well too. Congrats! I love those 66-67 Fairlanes.
  6. Niko, that looks awesome! Great save and amazing work. Congrats!
  7. Excellent build Tom. One of my favorite GM's.....don't know why I haven't build one yet.
  8. Wow, that's nice. Beautiful paint.
  9. Nice work, it's good to see an early fox built.
  10. Another very nice and clean build Carl, just as you always do. Glad you are still able to build at the level you do, keep up the great work my friend.

  16. Wow, what an amazing build. I never would have thought a Thunderbolt would make such a cool lowrider. Love those curb feelers. Stunning work Erik, congrats!
  17. Thanks a lot fellas. The T/A's have always been one of my favorite Mopars.
  18. Very sharp build Carl, that shade of blue is gorgeous and suits the 'bird well.

  20. Thanks for sharing these as well Clifford, they are beautiful.
  21. Wow, outstanding work Clifford! You really nailed the look. I would never have imagined that it was a 30 year old build. I think those old Gal's look mean as well. Congrats!
  22. Now that's some out of the box thinking. I love it. The patina is very convincing, great work Chuck.
  23. a few more pics.... Thanks for looking.
  24. After a long hiatus, I'm finally back with my first completed model since last winter. I had hit a major builders block about 2/3rds of the way through the Challenger. I had to take a step back from the hobby completely and let time refresh my interest and desire to build again. Well, a couple weeks ago, I started getting the bug again and pulled this project back out and finished it. It's painted Model Masters Sublime Green, and was polished out with MCW's Buff EZ and Final Finish. I did the usual plumbing underhood and added a blower motor to the firewall. The tire lettering are decals I had laying around. Body-wise, all I modified was filling in the seam where the front splash pan mounts to the body and scribed in the correct location for the pan. Also, I trimmed down the "B-pillars" to about half their original size for a better appearance. OOB they looked like the size of redwood trees to me. I filled in the seam on the hood scoop as well. This kit went together with ease and no issues, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. There are a few areas I will touch up yet, but other than that I'm calling it done. On with the pictures.....
  25. Wow, I haven't seen a built up version of this kit in a long time. Sorry about the paint mishap, but hey, the vinyl top looks great on it. I love it, nice work.
