  1. I'm with Monty, as I don't think I've ever seen one done in white before either......it looks great! Sweet build.
  2. Very nice. This kit can be a bit tricky to build, but you made it look easy.
  3. Awesome Charger! I only wish my first car was that cool. Very nice work, and I wish you a speedy recovery.

Real sharp work, and that is a great shade of blue.
  5. Thanks guys. Someday! That is one that is missing from my stash. I've wrapped up the Bearcat, and have a Wildcat about half built buried away, so it only makes sense that I round up a Hellcat sometime. Don't know why I haven't bought one yet, as it is one of my favorite birds from WWII. Nice, I don't think I've ever seen a bare metal Bearcat before, I think it would look sharp.
  6. Thanks again guys. Thunderbolts were "Total Performance" at it's best.
  7. I was thinking Mopar after reading the titles as well, lol. I really like the build Jake, very different and very cool.
  8. That is a beautiful Hudson SFD. Glad to see you over here too.
  9. Wow, this makes two completed models in less than a week for me. After finishing the Thunderbolt, this kit called out to me again. I had it about 80% completed before I put it away several years ago. It's the Testors 1/48 kit, very basic but it builds into a good looking model. I had opened up the exhaust ports, but other than that it's 100% box stock. I didn't even try to add any weathering to it. After taking the pics, I realized that I hadn't painted the lights on the wingtips yet, oops. They'll get added today. Finishing up this old warbird was a nice change of pace, but I'm sure there will be another car on the bench in a short amount of time. Thanks for looking.
  10. That is crazy cool. Stellar work Jon, very impressive!
  11. Usually I'm not a big fan of modern wheels on sixties and seventies muscle, but I will admit that those BBS wheels actually look pretty good on it. Nice work.
  12. Thanks so much guys. To give the front bumper the aluminum look, I just shot it with some Testors flat clear lacquer. Richard, the ducts came with the kit.
  13. Glad to hear you're feeling better. Those are some killer lookin' Mercs Doc, I love 'em. I can hear the siren on the Luftwaffe wailing as its screaming down the flats.
  14. That is a truly outstanding build Rod, love those early sixties big Fords. Excellent craftsmanship and detail all around.
  15. Those are a couple of sharp builds, well done!
  16. Hey guys, here's my latest project, just finished it up earlier today. I raised the suspension for a better stance, used some better looking parts box tires for the fronts, and added coil/ignition wires. Other than that, its box stock. Testors Italian Red was used as a stand in for Poppy Red, and I shot the interior in Model Master SAC Bomber Tan. It's not the greatest match, but it's the closest that I had on hand. Putting the kit together was a breeze, no real fitment issues. Though, when installing the chassis into the body for final assembly, the engine and headers are a tight squeeze getting past the inner fenders. Thanks for looking and hope you like it.
  17. Purple looks real good on the Merc. It has a nice and clean look to it, well done.
  18. Your work, and photography, never cease to amaze me, Sean. Just absolutely gorgeous, congrats.
  19. That old Charger has seen some better days. Very realistic and a great build.
  20. Very nice. This kit has a lot of shortcomings, but you've made it look really good.
  21. Model Car World has the correct decals. Kinda wish I would have gotten a set of them when I built mine.
  22. Congrats Mika, she looks mighty fine.
  23. Thanks for the heads-up, I was unaware of this.
  24. Sharp looking build. Ditto on liking the Ramchargers cars, too.
  25. Very nice!
