  1. Nicely done Marcus. I like that shade of yellow.
  2. Killer Mach 1 Cruz! Awesome work and congrats on the mag cover.
  3. Thanks for all the good words guys. As I've said before, not only is it one of my favorite builds, I think they are some of the best model pictures I've taken to date also. That makes for a double whammy against this so-called Ford guy.......I better do something about that! No harm done with those questions Mike, it's all good. The L-88's did have aluminum heads. For the air cleaner, I just liked the looks of the custom one I put on, and went with it. Yeah, it's kinda tough at times to bring a brand-x to the bench (lol), but I still try to make the best of 'em.
  4. There you go thinkin' again! Mmmmmm......a Brute would be pretty sweet.
  5. Great looking MOPAR, well done! Good attention to all the details.
  6. Thanks a lot guys. Now if it was only 1:1........it's one Chebie I wouldn't mind having in my driveway.
  7. Great looking builds Bob, thanks for sharing. I really like that Nova Nomad and the Ranchero. Looking forward to what's to come in 2013.
  8. That's a wicked ride with some serious attitude! Great build Ron.
  9. I appreciate the nice words guys, thanks. No problem.
  10. Great build and excellent fabrication work.
  11. Like Carl said, pics are blurry, but the truck looks great from what I can see. Do you have a macro function on your camera?
  12. So she was a BIT rusty, eh?!
  13. I went with the old line "There's no replacement for displacement" with this. The 350 went into the parts box, and the L-88 427 from the Revell '68 Corvette convert. took it's place. Headers came from the B/M '69 Camaro. Done in Model Master Huggar Orange with a Krylon semi-gloss black interior. Did my trick of using washers for disc brakes on this one too. Ended up being one of my favorite builds. Did I just say that? Being a Ford guy, maybe I should have kept that to myself!
  14. I'm sure others probably have better, but I have this link. Good shots of the engine bay and interior. http://www.colinsclassicauto.com/detail.php?car=336
  15. Very impressive build Fred, beautiful work.
  16. Now that's cool. Very nice paint, and work.
  17. Really nice looking build, great work.
  18. That is awesome! Looks like way too much fun......
  19. I agree, never thought I'd hear those words put together. On a similar note, a few weeks ago I saw what looked like a late 80's-early nineties, well abused Ford Festiva wearing collector plates....it gave me a good chuckle.
  20. Very sharp build Ray. I definitely cruise around in that. What brand of black did you use on the interior? It sure looks spot-on for vinyl in my eyes.
  21. Thanks guys. The 'Cuda is one of my favorites from the era too. Ed, the slicks did come with this kit, though they are M+H Racemasters, when they should be Goodyears. Mine is from the most recent re-issue in the late 90's.
  22. I'm glad to see you were able to get this one finished Mike! Lookin' good.
  23. Another top notch build Randy. Great pictures as well. Like you said, it is very refreshing to build something a little out of the norm once and awhile to help recharge the batteries.
