  1. Usually I'm not a big fan of modern wheels on sixties and seventies muscle, but I will admit that those BBS wheels actually look pretty good on it. Nice work.
  2. Thanks so much guys. To give the front bumper the aluminum look, I just shot it with some Testors flat clear lacquer. Richard, the ducts came with the kit.
  3. Glad to hear you're feeling better. Those are some killer lookin' Mercs Doc, I love 'em. I can hear the siren on the Luftwaffe wailing as its screaming down the flats.
  4. That is a truly outstanding build Rod, love those early sixties big Fords. Excellent craftsmanship and detail all around.
  5. Those are a couple of sharp builds, well done!
  6. Hey guys, here's my latest project, just finished it up earlier today. I raised the suspension for a better stance, used some better looking parts box tires for the fronts, and added coil/ignition wires. Other than that, its box stock. Testors Italian Red was used as a stand in for Poppy Red, and I shot the interior in Model Master SAC Bomber Tan. It's not the greatest match, but it's the closest that I had on hand. Putting the kit together was a breeze, no real fitment issues. Though, when installing the chassis into the body for final assembly, the engine and headers are a tight squeeze getting past the inner fenders. Thanks for looking and hope you like it.
  7. Purple looks real good on the Merc. It has a nice and clean look to it, well done.
  8. Your work, and photography, never cease to amaze me, Sean. Just absolutely gorgeous, congrats.
  9. That old Charger has seen some better days. Very realistic and a great build.
  10. Very nice. This kit has a lot of shortcomings, but you've made it look really good.
  11. Model Car World has the correct decals. Kinda wish I would have gotten a set of them when I built mine.
  12. Congrats Mika, she looks mighty fine.
  13. Thanks for the heads-up, I was unaware of this.
  14. Sharp looking build. Ditto on liking the Ramchargers cars, too.
  15. Very nice!
  16. That looks terrible, you better send it to me asap! lol! Just kidding..... A stunning build, I don't know what else to say. Very nice work on adding the gauges to the dashboard, a detail that seems to often go overlooked on these cars. Congrats on a truly beautiful build, Rod!
  17. I happen to be building the same kit right now. I haven't come across any fitment issues so far, but I did raise the suspension some so it doesn't have the lowrider look to it, as Bill mentioned above. Blocks out back, and up front, cut the bosses of the spindles and re-glued them lower. x3 on it being a manual transmission as well. Good luck, and keep us updated.
  18. Very sharp! That would look so good sitting on one of my shelves, lol! I hope Mobeius comes out with a 4x4 version of their upcoming trucks.
  19. Heck of a first car Bob, I'm jealous! My first was a red, cough, '90 Ford Probe GL, cough. It was actually a pretty reliable and good car. I even spanked a late 70's or so Monte Carlo with it once. Probably had more to do with the chump behind the wheel of the Monte more than anything else though. lol
  20. Wow, that is a great build. As Bruce said, silver is not an easy color to work with, but you pulled it off beautifully. Those Monte's did make for great looking Nascars.
  21. Great build, and nice work with the decals. The Torinos and Cyclones are my favorite from the era. Oh how I wish today's cup cars still looked like the cars they "represent" on the street.
  22. It came out looking good, Joey. I'm sure your next will be even better, congrats.
  23. Excellent build Steve. If I get my hands on another Big John Cuda, I'd like to build it as this car as well.
  24. Sweet, never get tired of looking at those old Willys.
  25. Great foil and interior work Niko. Those kit decals look really sharp, you've got me thinking about picking up one of these kits.
