  1. This probably has to be the nicest build of this kit I've seen, you've made it a standout. Very nice!
  2. Excellent build Steve. It's nice to see one with the leaning tower of power.
  3. Beautiful build Marcus. Where's the keys?
  4. Carl, your paint finishes continue to amaze me! You're definitely a master at getting ultra smooth and shiny paint. That color really looks good on the Mustang, and the scale stripe really sets it off. Great work and thanks for sharing.
  5. Great build Tom. Nice colors on that two tone. Cool story and history of the steakhouse, sounds like it was a pretty neat place.
  6. Thanks everyone. Thanks GTX, after the day I had at work I needed a good laugh! Chas, thanks for sharing all of that info. I knew about the Sanderson fenderwell headers, but none of the other mods done to the car. Good stuff to know.
  7. You're right Chas, it was MCW that had the correct decals. Slixx are all white as well. Thanks for the good words guys.
  8. This. Very cool build Chuck.
  9. Finished this one up this past summer. I added some 7" M&H cheater slicks from Speed City Resin, and fabbed up a somewhat accurate exhaust. Other than that, it's oob. Exterior is Dupli-Color Cardinal Red and the interior is, also Dupli-Color, Bright Red. Looking back on it now, I wish I would have picked up a set of Slixx decals for it, but oh well.
  10. Wow, I'm amazed, and inspired, by all of these builds you guys have posted. There sure is a lot of talent here. I managed to complete five. With any luck I'll be able to make it six. On another note, I've probably bought more than triple of what I completed this year.
  11. Nice work Cole. That first pic is very convincing.
  12. I like it, great weathering and detail. Love what you did with the front fenders.
  13. Looks like it was a very productive year for you, Niko. All are very nice builds. I really like the Nova and that all-too cool Simca.
  14. Thanks for the continued good words everyone. I need to get my hands on a couple more of these someday, as I've got the decals to do both Hubert Platt's and Dyno Don's super stocks. Joe, if you're referring to the front axle, I didn't change up anything with it. I just painted it black to help blend it in with the rest of the suspension. It actually looks ok.
  15. Glad you like it guys, thanks for the comments. Wimbledon White is probably my favorite color on the '68 'Stangs, though Acapulco Blue gives it a serious run for it's money. I used the 2n1 stock/drag edition. It did come with, as far as I could tell, all of the parts for the Bullit kit as well.
  16. Great builds Steve!
  17. Very nice build, probably the best I've seen of this kit. I've got one lurking in the stash that I've opened up the box and looked at the parts numerous times, pondered and mumbled "ehhh", and toss it back into the pile. Someday.....
  18. Excellent work Chuck. Very realistic.
  19. Built this one back in 2011. Revell kit, painted in Model Master Wimbledon White with a Tamiya Mica Blue interior. I went with Keith Marks decals, as the ones supplied in the kit (the black c-stripes, anyways) were missing the smaller outer accent stripe on the door. Strange, as the remainder of the stripe didn't have this issue. I did the usual plumbing underhood, and added a custom air cleaner. Modded the front bumper attachment points slightly for a more accurate, and better, fit. I initially had my doubts about this kit, but in the end, it was an enjoyable build and glad to have it added to my collection. Thanks fer lookin'. A pic that shows the shine a little better...
  20. Paint looks great Roger. If you don't mind, what brand of blue did you use?
  21. Very nice! Those Aventador's are one wicked looking machine.
  22. Another excellent build Carl. That shade of blue is beautiful, and looks flawless. I'm always impressed by your paint work.
  23. Great looking Willys.
  24. Killer Bronco! Excellent work on the conversion and weathering/mud. I'd like to do a similar conversion someday. Couldn't agree more, John.
