  1. Awesome looking truck so far Ron!
  2. With the 2013 Cannonball drawing closer I thought I'd post my entry from 2011. It was my first time being in a cbp and a total blast to be apart of. The color is Testors One Coat Lime Ice, the model itself went together very well. I would like to note that this was the first car I was ever brave enough to buff down with sanding pads, until this the thought of taking anything across the paint job was considered suicidal. But it turned out really well in the end and I'm happy I did it. Anyway before I turn this into a long and likely boring story I'll just start showing pics. I'll have a few more pictures up shortly, thanks for looking!
  3. I hope you guys can get your cars done in time, it'll be a awesome line up. As for me the GTX is a for sure, should have it done by the middle of next week. The Hot Rod is looking grim though. I had to pull the engines off the hot rod to pull the valve covers off and re-spray them, I also forgot to put the starters on. I'm having a few issues with plumbing the radiator for the back engine as well. Also having some problems with the interior, it not making it is slowly becoming reality. But don't completely count it out yet there's still 2 seeks so we'll see. Best of luck everyone!
  4. Awesome start, I'll be watching.
  5. Awesome building I wish I could get my engines to look half as nice as this one. And as for your plans for the future, very respectable, I hope it all works out for you.
  6. Beautiful build, it's a show stopper, great work!
  7. Is anyone else a little concerned at how casually he said this? Seriously though awesome detailing Fred, can't wait to see it with the decals. Awesome progress Andy, I need to make one of those pentagrams too and curse my hot rod to eternal life or something so it doesn't run out of gas.
  8. Beautiful build, it looks very nice!
  9. Amazing and beautiful creation, good luck at the show.
  10. I agree with Jason, by all means go for it. T - 22 days and counting though. I better get my rear in gear too.

  19. Thanks, I used 2" x 3 3/4" the bag says .080 x .156" (2.0 x 4.0 mm) evergreen styrene.
  20. Man that's nice, great work so far. Keep it up!
  21. Thank you Bradley!
  22. Got the frame sprayed, mounted the engines, made some exhaust pipes and scratch built two seats. I got and idea for paint on the body so after it warns up a little I'll start on that and also finish up the frame. As long as nothing drastic happens the hot rod should make it to the starting line as well.
  23. Well I'm back on the hot rods case, got the frame sprayed gloss black, the exhaust done and scratch built two seats. More updates to follow, I'm gonna try to have this thing done before Dec 1st. Thanks for looking!
  24. I've been working on the GTX again, here's what's been done. Installed some laughing gas (NOS) for some added fun. Got the battery and wiring in place the fuel tank was also test mounted. The wiring is guitar string if anyone is interested. And finally the dash board is ready in install. More updates to follow, I've got to have this done before Dec. 1st to make the Cannonball Run. I for see a few all nighters in my future. Thanks for looking!
