    Here's my first completed car model of this year, a Matchbox 1/32 Bugatti Type 59. A nice kit with a good level of detail for the size. I stripped most of the chrome parts and painted them silver or aluminium to give them more of a scale finish.

    I picked these up from my LHS today.

    The most I've ever paid is £80.00 ($125.00) for a 1/32 Airfix Austin Maxi. I know that's a lot for a 1/32 kit but they usually sell for a lot more than that.

    Great job! The blue paintwork provides a nice contrast to the colour of the decals.

    Some great work going on here guys. I've been slow off the mark but the Mercedes does have some primer on the body. Still a few months to go so I should make it before the finish date.

    Here's a little something I built last year. Built straight from the box and painted with Rover Applejack automotive paint from Halfords. Of course I couldn't forget the spider.

    I got an AMT Eckler Corvette, Monogram '59 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz, Monogram 1/32 LN7 Sports Coupe and a Revell K.S. Pittman Willys Drag Coupe.

    Despite living in the UK and having a limited knowledge of 50's American cars some inspired guesswork got me a total of 92%.

    As it's the 1st of January here in the UK here is what I'll be driving. I haven't decided on a color yet but there's plenty of time for that.
