  1. I'd go with either a 302 or the Mod Motor from the Cobra, especially if I was building something to go around corners as quickly as in a straight line.
  2. Aha. I had to look at the engine for a minute to see that's a blower. Very subtle. Nice color combo too.
  3. Datsa nice! I love the paint and the overall look. Two thumbs up.
  4. I never understood why Revell always referred to the Thunderbird SC as a Thunderbird SC coupe, since the SC stands for Super Coupe. That would mean its a Thunderbird Super Coupe Coupe. A bit redundant, no?
  5. Its a 3 in 1 with some nice custom bits.
  6. I have a Canon Rebel and I download my pics into Adobe Bridge. I can manipulate JPEG's in the same manner as a RAW file by opening it up in Camera RAW. I then open it up in photoshop to do any final manipulations.
  7. I love it. A fitting tribute to a true automotive legend.
  8. Thanks for all the kind words, guys. Its been a while since I did one of the old Monogram muscle car kits, and I'd forgotten how easily they just seem to fall together. I tried several new techniques on this one and really had fun building it.
  9. Nice pickup, Curt. Fords always look good in red. The treadplate is a unique touch.
  10. Its a modified laquer. I spray it straight out of the can and get great results. Just be sure to use a good non- filling primer before you shoot it. The filler primer without regular sandable primer on top will cause sandscratch swelling and headaches.
  11. This is my down and dirty poseable steering. What I did was cut the mounts off the lower suspension and then drilled the pivot points on the lower and upper a- arms. I then made spindles out of t- shaped sections of sprue, drilled those and attached everything with straight pins. While not prototypical, it works just fine for a shelf model.
  12. Thought you might like a chassis pic also...
  13. How about the nose from the '87 Thunderbird?
  14. The delta wing looks like it was lifted from a '57 Desoto (maybe mount three vertical taillights in it). Virgil Exner was a man ahead of his time.
  15. The first time I used BMF was '87 when I got back into the hobby. Haven't looked back since.
  16. That is an incredible paint job. Very nice.
  17. Nice work. Did you cut out the trunk and hinge it, or did the kit come that way?
  18. That's one tough looking Fairlane.
  19. Here you go, Ryan;
  20. That's something you don't want to see in your rearview mirror . Nice execution (and I'm not talking about 'Old Sparky' ).
  21. Looks like a really good box- stock build. Nice and clean.
  22. Now if this car doen't have a menacing air to it, I don't know what does. I like.
