  1. Thank you for the link grayghost. I appreciate it.
  2. Thank you for posting this. I was going to ask everyone if they knew a sourse for drill bits size 40 to 60 & these people actually have a set. Thanks again.
  3. Nice looking tractor. I love these old trucks. They look like they were made to do the job.
  4. I love old gassers & this is one nice looking Willys. One comment though. If it was running in A/GS shouldn't it be supercharged?
  5. There's a lot to be said for "old" technology.
  6. I'm always getting these offers in the mail that include a fake plastic credit card. They work perfectly for spreading putty. I clean them up with a razor blade when the putty dries.
  7. All in 1/25 scale De Tomaso Mangusta early Dodge Power Wagon Shelby Daytona Coupe (full detail in plastic) Cheetah (full detail in plastic) Lola T70 coupe
  8. Back in my youth your status in the neighborhood was determined by how many scorch marks you had on your driveway. Come to think of it, it still is.
  9. Thank you to everyone for your responses & comments towards my inquiry. The demo was particularly interesting. It's funny how we remember weird stuff from our youth.
  10. Does anyone remember an electric hot knife type device you could use to open up doors, trunks, & cut up bodies for top chops & sectioning? I recall as a kid in the '60's you could get one from Auto World I think. Are these things still available?
  11. Actually there were only 50 of these made. The bodies were designed & built by Ghia in Italy. I had the opportunity to get a ride in one of these when I was a kid. My grandfather was CFO (they called them head bookkeepers at the time) of a Chrysler dealership in Milwaukee that was chosen by the factory to loan it out to people for evaluation. Being a little car nut, my Gramps surprised me one Saturday morning by pulling in the driveway in this beautiful copper machine from the future. I was the envy of the neighborhood. I remember the strange whooshing sound it made when you accelerated. It was quite a thrill. Unfortunately, the company deliberately destroyed all but a few of them because of some strange import tax thing they had going on. To my knowledge, there are only 2 in existence that still run. One is at the Chrysler museum in Michigan & the other is owned by Jay Leno. I just thought I would throw in a little info about this amazing car.
