  1. Lowered the front stance and clearanced the wheel openings a bit more - sneaking up on it.
  2. Nice work.
  3. Thanks for the link Mike. The Friedman Collection is a great resource and I already have the Foyt Mustang photos saved - that is the car I have settled on building.
  4. I like it better without the roof lip too.
  5. Yikes, those aren't 7" wide and no roll hoop! It does have the Cobra style brake cooling ducts. Shelby built a handful of Group I Mustangs (less modified) and they were sent to Europe to compete.
  6. Still work to do to create tire clearance in the fenders and get the wheels tucked in at the front but she is standing on her own.
  7. You can't believe everything you read on Facebook.
  8. Hi Mike. I'm looking for tires for my '66 Group II Mustang project which didn't run a staggered set. Therefore I need (4) the same size. It raced on 15x7 wheels.
  9. The period photos are of Payne's 289 Cobra (CSX2430) - the forward facing roll bar brace and the "D" shaped radiator intake are the tells. The engine shots are the 427.
  10. You could use the Trumpeter Falcon chassis, it will fit some fairly big tires.
  11. Again nice work Gary. I also have this kit in the stash.
  12. Very nice.
  13. How about a Ford engine in a Ford Falcon Ranchero.
  14. Very nice Steve! I did a detailed build of a Mk.II rally car a few years back. Want to build this kit as well.
  15. Very nice.
  16. Thanks Ralph! I sent him a PM.
  17. I added another photo of the sidewall.
  18. Looking for a set of (4) tires on the right or an aftermarket source. Don't know the kit source for them but might be AMT.
  19. Wheel/tire mockup - looks pretty good. Wheel openings will need to be modified.
  20. Wet Leg - Too Late Now
  21. Wet Leg - Chaise Longue
