Very nice work. I don't recall ever seeing the bulge on the passenger side pod - any idea the reason for bump out? Could it be for a bigger fuel cell?

Cassette are making a come back! My son is using my Nakamichi Model 2 deck and buying cassettes on eBay and used music stores in the area. Analog is making a big resurgence thanks to younger folks discovering the sound.

The RT-707 were produce '77-'84, not sure the exact age of my deck. Its built like a tank, unit weighs 45lbs. Pre-recorded tapes are not east to come by but are out there. Blank tapes are a little easier to find.

Found one of these decks at an estate sale - just got it back after having it restored. Very excited! Now I just have to build up a tape library. A video to give you an idea of what my deck looks like.

Just FYI , the car Rex posted is an AC Aceca not a Cobra hardtop although they share the same chassis. Beautiful car, wish we could get a kit or trans-kit of one.

As information Revell mislabeled the Drag Racing Cobra kit. The car was built by Motion Performance not Baldwin-Motion. Motion Performance did collaborate with Baldwin Chevrolet (Baldwin-Motion Performance Group) to build many hot Chevys back in the day. The original Baldwin-Motion Performance Group (1967-1974) represented a partnership between Baldwin Auto Company, a franchised Chevrolet dealership dating back to the early-1920s and Motion Performance, a high-profile speed shop with a reputation for building fast Chevys.
