  1. Interesting technique on the cage fabrication Tom - might have to try it out.
  2. Great looking project - glad you dug it back up.
  3. What fun is a MFH kit with your scratch building skills.
  4. Nice work. Is that the Salvino kit?
  5. Really like the dirt bug.
  6. I’ve abandoned the idea of fabricating override traction bars (too difficult to accomplish and would be hard to see on the finished model) and will install the stock back seat. You could order a lightweight racing seat for a Group II. I modified the custom seat from the ’66 AMT kit (left) to represent the racing seat. Also modified the stock seat from the ’67 AMT (left) to resemble a ’66 seat.
  7. Very nice.
  8. Possible options for a Mustang AWB build are the Revellogram 1/24 scale Mustang chassis and the AMT '67 Mustang chassis. Of course you could use the Trumpeter Falcon chassis again as well. I used the 1/24 scale chassis under an AMT '66 Falcon build. I cut the chassis just in-front of the rear wheels to shorten it to fit the 1/25 scale Falcon body. The width was very close as is.
  9. I asked the moderators to move this to the racing category.
  10. fabricated 4-point roll hoop added front fender panel line at the door sill
  11. Very nice Bruce.
  12. Welcome Gert.
  13. Nice work.
  14. Maybe you are copying your photos from the thumbnail view which makes them this size when you post them here. If you copy the photo from the full size image in your Fotki album they display this size when you post them.
  15. added bolt detail added spindle cup detail to the front swing arms opened up the rear shackles
  16. Race cars didn't run the damper on the steering rack so I cut it free. This will allow me to have posable wheels.
  17. Very nice.
  18. These are great diecast models, I have the Wheeler Dealer. The front wheel are a big improvement.

    Nice work.
  20. Thanks Bill. Dale Wood was the car owner, he was very aggressive radiusing the fenders. The clearance extends into the scallop body line at the front. They did roll the lips slightly. I have radiused my wheel arches as far as I can while retain just a bit of the lip. Haven't yet decided if I want to take them farther which would require creating new flares.
