  1. Very nice Krishna!
  2. Thanks Michael! When I get the resin copies, I will be contacting you about the La Carrera PanaAmericana decals. You are able to do white print ok? Want to build one like this \/
  3. No problem Pat! Thanks for the compliments! "When I get the body I will have Mike Schnur take a look at this too. If you don't mind we might be able to create a buck to make some vacuum formed glass. The last time I talked to Mike he said he has the Fox Mustang glass perfected. " That sounds fine to me Greg! I know when to admit I cant do something as well as others can.
  4. Where I am at as of yesterday........sent out to Greg Wann for resin casting. Will start on the rest of the build soon while the body is gone.
  5. Thank you Jonathan! Glad you enjoyed it up to this point. There will be more to come........
  6. Thanks Mike!! Greg asked me to paint and polish it to produce a VERY smooth resin copy......I of course obliged.
  7. Thanks Mike!! The wife has a great eye for color! I'll come up with something for the glass.......
  8. Thank you Bill! You are one of the people that have been with me on this from the start....I appreciate it!
  9. More like Wife!!! Seriously though, my wife picked the color......I DO love her!!
  10. Thanks Fred! Not sure yet, the build I will be doing is using the 90's Testarossa interior, the Enzo engine with Testarossa transmission, and the Enzo chassis and suspension. I have to figure out the glass situation yet.
  11. Vintage European car nut!!

  12. Just magnificent Joao!!! A real beauty.
  13. Well here it is fellas! This will be the last time I see the car in front of me......it is off to Greg Wann as the master for many casts of resin copies! The paint is Bright red nailpolish with 4 coats of lacquer clear coat.....the nailpolish did not cover quite as well in some areas but hey it is shiny enough and best of all SMOOTH! I fell like I am sending a child away to college........this has been a labor of love! ENJOY ALL!
  14. Looks awesome Jonathan!! I am soooooo filled with want for this kit!!
  15. Man Mike, that really stinks. I have been in this same boat before.. 1. You can wetsand and level it out (big PITA and time consuming) then reshoot it 2. You can do touch-up on the areas that are hit light and cover them, then shoot a clear over the whole thing and level the clear (which most likely wont have the rough surface to deal with.) 3. Or the dreaded strip and start over I have had good results with the "Clear over" method before.......just wait till the red is done gassing out. Hope this helps......it is hard when this type of thing happens though!
  16. Thank you Jim! You are right, it is a beautiful car and I look forward to making it available.
  17. Thank you! You are right Billy....I have not scaled them down as of yet. Been trying to get the Ferrari ready for Greg.
  18. Thanks again Bill! I am going to most likely make a windshield cut to size and shaped to fit then probably form something from there. Not sure yet, just had so much drive to get it done for casting.......I'll come up with something and let everyone know the method.
  19. Just a few pics to show that I am still on this.......currently I am color sanding getting the body ready for The Mastercaster.......Greg Wann himself will be casting this folks!! And how about a before and after to show how far this has come. Before...... After.........
  20. Thanks Amanda. Ended up using a re-casted version of the original front end and grafted it in in a higher position and angle than before.
  21. Jurgen, I so enjoy your models because the detail level is off the scale!!! This one is no different, JUST BEAUTIFUL!!
  22. That's ok Robert! I did not view it as negative.....there is a lot riding on this, I want to make sure the people that are interested in the design of the car will be happy with the finished product when it is casted.
  23. Hey thanks Robert! The body on this car messes with your eyes when you look at it from different angles......I thought the same thing several times but when I measured it in millimeters, it is right on compared to the 1:1. I am working from the stock version of the 1:1 for length/width measure.
  24. Thanks Dan! That was the first thing I noticed too!
