  1. Thank you Rob Thanks Albie. Wait till you see my Enzo build....it is going to be wild.
  2. Thank you for the kind words everyone. You guys hit it right on the head....that is what it is all about....we had a great time doing this. I love to spend time with her and for her to want to do something I like to do well....my cup runneth over thats all I can say.
  3. Thank you guys, she just beams from ear to ear when she looks at it. Because it is PINK.
  4. My 11 year old daughter wanted to build a model about a week ago, I of course was overjoyed by this (the wife not so much.) We went and purchased this Snap-tite Enzo. My work schedule is demanding to say the least but she and I would work on it when we could. She insisted that I paint the body some sort of pink (favorite color) I chose to do it HOK Pink Pearl over HOK Passion Purple. I think it made a nice color flop pink to purple. She had a blast building this with me and we will definitely do another one soon. And one shot under intense light to show the color

Beautiful build Ray. On the air cleaner foam filter, what about using a piece of basswood or similar carving type wood? You can shape it and then spray it primer gray. Easy to drill too. Just an idea.
  6. Was going to but on one of the other washers (did not use it) the drill would not get thru it without dulling out and finally breaking off the tip of the drill. Figuring it must have been some kind of a sign, I "machined" them instead with a drill and screwdriver tip.
  7. Ok so the brakes that come with the kit are small to say the least. That was not going to work for me sooooo I made new ones. The old next to the new. The new ones are made from a 1 1/4" stainless washer for the rotor and 2 stacked 1 1/4" nylon washers (which I Dremeled the caliper out of.) And on the car
  8. Thanks Josh. I am happy with how it is coming together.
  9. Car goes to paint later today. Wait till you see the Big Brakes I made today. Pics soon.
  10. Dave that rear end is just poetry. Heck the whole build is so far! Incredible work, you are an inspiration to "Big Boyz" modeler's like me.
  11. VERY nice work Mike.
  12. I see what you mean by your explanation, and it will work for sure, but if I were to section out and remove the top of the back wall of the wheelwell I think I can get the tire to clear and move in the 3mm I need. Should be pretty unnoticeable too. Will post a shot of it with the wheels mounted in the new configuration when done. Thanks Fred.
  13. Fred, your 40th is just beautiful!!!
  14. Yep this is what I was thinking of doing. It will be the back wall of the rear wheelwells that has to go.
  15. Yeah Jeffrey, I think I am gonna try that.
  16. I'll see what i can do. Maybe I can make them work.
  17. Beautiful builds as usual Krishna! Love the Supra. Would never have thought of doing it in that color. They both look great!
  18. Hey Fred, good to hear from you again. I do appreciate your advice (being that you own one.) The wheels I chose for this build are a little wider than the originals so they hit the inner wheelwell if they are pushed in too much. It was an unfortunate issue with changing to the aftermarket wheels. Which are now HOK Galaxy Gray......too much bling before! New pics soon.
