  1. Thanks for the feedback. Tires are 235-40-18 Pirelli. Big balloons are more 70s style and for dragsters.
  2. This is great news
  3. Oh the KPGC110 looks sweet,but i guess it`s curbside?
  4. Hello. Have been working on this some week now,i did not make a WIP on it,i have this irrational fear Photobucket will black out my pics if i upload to much lol. Revell 1:24,it does have some fit issues but i did my best, most problematic was the front end lower part and rear spoiler. At first i wanted to make a Brewster Green original car,but i found a good 1:25 MPC resto object i will attempt to do stock. So this one got the engine, trans, brakes, suspension and wheels upgrade to be more street machine or pro touring. The body is completely stock,i like it this way, most muscle cars this era looks great only getting a little closer to the ground and some wheels, stock is sweet to. Enough bla bla. here are some pictures. Hope you like it and feedback is welcome, good or bad.
  5. Fat looking Camaro.
  6. Very nice,love the color.
  7. Good looking Impala.
  8. Fantastic looking Datsun. Now i hope they will releaze the street version.
  9. Beautiful model. So much better looking then the 57 (Sorry to all the fans of the 57) lol
  10. X2 If i ever was to get the 1:1 it should look like this.
  11. Very nice Road Runner. These look good stock.
  12. Great looking hot rod. Cool detail with the rear lid louvers in bare metal.
  13. Very nice Countach. These early versions look ten times better then the later ones.
  14. Great restoration. The finish looks flawless.
  15. Incredible detail and finish, love it. Like the fact you chose fuel injection over one single carburator.
  16. Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. Yes there is no problem to get supply for the 1:1,i was just curious on good stuff intended for models. I`ll check out the 2-part filler Michael. Color is no big deal as it will be primed.
  17. The 340 six pack has a rear located distributor.
  18. Hm i have this early version Esci Range Rover 2door,this engine would be nice.
  19. Suspension more or less done so this will be the stance. I changed my mind on the mill, going for 392 hemi with hillborn fuel injection. I found some nice valvecovers and hillborn parts at speedcity resin. The Cadillac wheels did not fit,and i did not feel to okay with shaving these tires, btw they are from the AMT tire packs. The wheels are the Moons who come with the kit. I might change my mind on these too lol How it sits now.
  20. Tamiya TS-42 Light gun metal & TS-54 Light metallic blue. The last one is more dark then light.
  21. Here you go: http://www.ebay.com/itm/150805502960?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  22. Thanks! I`ll change the color. I did not really find any decent referance photos of this particular engine original.
  23. Very nice color and "vinyl" top.
  24. Inspired by all the cool older custom cars on this forum i thought i should do an humble attempt myself. The kit is AMT 1949 Mercury. Very nice car both stock and custom, even if i favour the 51 as for looks. Anyway,i do think flames are pretty cool, even if they are being used so much it`s become an cliche, but who cares, taste is as we all know subjective. My level of skill dont allow me to chop the top or such things, so i guess it will be more or less stock as for body. It will be lowered and hopefully i will find some tires with wide whitewalls,i think it looks good on these cars. Plans so far is Cadillac drivetrain and wheels. Also i will be using Cadillac steeringwheel and maby other small stuff, not 100% sure. I tend to do changes as it progress, and after suggestions from you skilled people. This is what i have so far. I have not put clear on but will add a coat or two. Thanks for looking.
